“Hey, J.Lo – did you forget where you came from?” That’s what some frozen ballerinas are asking after working on her new video “I’m Glad.” Lopez’s people hired 15 ballerinas to appear en pointe in the all night shoot for the paltry salary of $150. The skinny girls in pink tights were badly treated – they had to stand outside in the cold all night in downtown LA, until they were herded into an unheated basement with cockroaches. After 7 miserable hours the dancers felt cheated. They told me that former Fly Girl Jennifer started as a dancer herself and ought to treat them better. Behind her back, J.Lo’s tour dancers call hers the “Pay-Low” tour.
