Fifty year old Brad Garrett’s mid-life crisis is paying off. The “Everybody Loves Raymond” actor divorced his wife in 2006 and became the proud owner of this mint green 1956 Jaguar. (And a sweater to match!) At 6’8” we imagine the vehicle’s a tight fit for him. The vintage car appears to be a chick magnet – take a look at his gorgeous girlfriend.

The first day of school can be somewhat traumatic even when your mother is Sarah Jessica Parker. Her son James doesn’t look thrilled at the prospect of summer vacation ending. Sarah dressed in a colorful outfit to walk James to school and stopped to point out an unusual bird in a tree to distract him. Sarah is about to start filming a comedy – “The Ivy Chronicles” – based on the book about a New York woman with two daughters who loses her husband, her job, and her Park Avenue apartment, and is forced to live in “reduced circumstances.”

RONALD REAGAN IS RETURNING TO THE BIG SCREEN

Hollywood names are being tossed around with varied opinions about who should star in the feature film of iconic President Ronald Reagan’s life. It’s simply called “Reagan” and the movie begins with the 1981 assassination attempt and flashes back and forward in his life. The producer Mark Joseph promises it will be nothing like the unflattering 2003 miniseries starring James Brolin. The Hollywood Reporter speculates that Zac Efron, Chris Pine, or James Franco might do Reagan justice, but we think an unknown actor with no baggage would be far more satisfying.

She probably never looked at it this way but Hilary Duff married a man physically much older than his 29 years. Mike Comrie battles pain every day – he’s been banged up and injured so many times playing rough hockey (an occupational hazard) that he has to use some kind of machine before he goes to sleep at night to “freeze” his muscles and alleviate pain so he can sleep. Mike’s back, legs and arms have been injured. He takes medication all the time and has regular physical therapy sessions. He’s been benched a lot due to injuries. Hilary will have to get used to the fact that when you marry a hockey player, you keep lots of ice packs in the refrigerator.

Chris Noth’s life just keeps getting better. After playing Mr Big in “Sex & the City,” he moved on to costar with Julianna Margulies on “The Good Wife.” He and his fiancee Tara Lynn Wilson, own several businesses together and also have a son Orion, 2. The family took a low key New England vacation in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and an eagle eyed photographer spotted them antique shopping.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz and their son Bronx were in the audience at the US Open this weekend and Ashlee was seen drinking a lot of SOMETHING. She became very animated during the Roger Federer match and did some noisy socializing and laughing and ended up on Pete’s lap. Afterward, she was loopy and tired. Pete took charge and balanced Bronx – who’s growing up fast- while he carefully guided tipsy Ashlee home via taxi to their hotel.

The Jersey Shore gang packed up their stuff at the end of the third season, picked up their checks from the T-shirt store, and prepared to re-enter the outside world. Being on a paid vacation is great but they have to do it WITHOUT cell phones, or TV, or internet access! As much as they will miss their housemates and all that nightclub creepin,’ they are desperate to get back to civilization and electronics.

The first family of fashion has decided to call Los Angeles home. David and Victoria Beckham are selling their massive 24 acre estate in the UK, which is worth almost 25 million dollars, and calling their Beverly Hills house home base from now on. Their three sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5, love living in sunny LA. Accountants advised David and Victoria to sell the English estate, jokingly called “Beckingham Palace,” because the upkeep was astronomical and they were seldom there. The family will maintain a London townhouse for visits.

For the past few months Courtney Love, 47, (above in New York) has been walking around with what’ s been described as a “new face.” Last year she appeared thin and drawn after weight fluctuations. Right now she’s in Europe performing and there has been considerable speculation about how she achieved her youthful and undeniably fresh look. Sources say she went to plastic surgeon Dr Sam Rizk in New York and had facial rejuvenation involving fat transfer to her face. The fat supposedly contains stem cells that plump and tighten the skin. Whatever she’s doing – it works!

Psychologists say that people tend to repeat the same behavior over and over, and Usher, 31, seems to be a perfect example. He hastily married his stylist Tameka Foster, 44, and she had a baby shortly thereafter, but also took charge of his career. This year the singer waited to split from Tameka until she gave birth to their second child so he wouldn’t seem like a cad. Immediately he started dating Grace Miguel, 42 – another older woman- who had worked at Def Jam and took charge of his new album. They were photographed in New York apartment hunting together (with his two sons) and they ran when paparazzi spotted them. Now it’s rumored that Grace is pregnant and Usher seems to be repeating his first marriage. His exwife Tameka labeled Usher a “bitch ass dude” on Twitter.

How DOES John Travolta get away with it? Accounts of Travolta’s liason with a porn star and dozens of male sexual encounters in steam rooms and spas don’t seem to affect him or his career or his marriage in the slightest. In fact, John has never DENIED any of these claims. This week’s cover story in The Enquirer details a new book by Robert Randolph called “You’ll Never Spa in This Town Again” and the author claims that “family man” Travolta has been a regular at gay spas in West Hollywood for years. And, of course, Randolph passed a polygraph test. As startling as this news IS, other papers- including the British tabloids – haven’t picked it up, and nobody’s paying much attention. The Enquirer scoop about John Edwards’ love child was monumental and we believe this story is just as accurate and sensational. Also odd is the fact that the story is NOT on the Enquirer website. We’re starting to wonder if all Kelly >Preston’s babies have been via test tube.

KAT VON D CHOOSES TO IGNORE JESSE JAMES’ TRACK RECORD

Something is going on here and it’s more than romance. Suddenly Jesse James is ENJOYING having paparazzi trail him. He’s POSING. (Remember, if Jesse were seeing an unknown stripper, paps probably wouldn’t be following him.) He and Kat Von D visited her tattoo shop L.A. Ink with great fanfare, they went to gas up her Bentley, and then they had lunch at the super high visibility Urth Caffe in West Hollywood. On top of that, Kat, 28, confessed that she’s in “love” with Jesse and that he’s “The One” at a red carpet event last night. Can you imagine her leaping into this relationship without an ounce of caution? There’s more to this than meets the eye.

Jersey Shore producers are eternally grateful for Sammi “Sweetheart’s” on again off again romance with muscle-bound Ronnie. It‘s become increasingly difficult for the Jersey gang to film OUTSIDE the house. In Miami, many clubs were unfriendly and fans followed the Jersey gang everywhere. Consequently, Sammi and Ronnie became VERY important because they created drama IN the house. Ronnie seems to be overdoing the “supplements” – and maybe the blow- because he’s hyper and temperamental and he’s the new villain on the series. His callous treatment of Sammi may be exaggerated but it makes for good TV. Our Seaside Heights source says as of this week they’re STILL off and on…

We don’t know if that story about Prince von Anhalt wanting to have his wife Zsa Zsa’s body “plastinated” when she dies is true because it came from an obscure German newspaper. According to the rumor, the Prince wants the German anatomist who created those plastinated people with veins and tendons intact now touring in museums, to immortalize Zsa Zsa. He wants her dressed up in a movie role and exhibited for the world to see (for a price, no doubt.) This crazy story reminds us that Zsa Zsa was really famous not for her looks so much as her zany and outspoken personality, as is illustrated in this 1986 video with Dame Edna.
