Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from celebrities and look at an animal photo. This is a twelve pound baby pygmy hippo born in the Miami zoo. At least in the zoo, these animals don’t get slaughtered by poachers like they do in the Congo. Apparently pygmy hippos are rare compared to the big river hippos and the zoo is very excited. You don’t often get to see a hippo the size of a Prada bag.

Oh so sweet and cute as a button and little baby is so nice to see! Mommy and sweet little baby together is a real gift and Hippo is just wonderful to the world…We need this.
