Business must be lousy at Abercrombie & Fitch if the company is trying to use Jersey Shore’s The Situation to get some free publicity. Someone at the company “leaked” the rumor that A&F offered to pay the Jersey Shore gang NOT to wear their label. The Situation, who often wears their sweats, wasn’t the least bit offended and swears he never heard a word from the company about any offer. Pauly D pointed out that A&F sold a GTL (gym, tanning, laundry) t- shirt inspired by the show a few seasons ago. Just a lame publicity stunt, but what’s shocking is how influential The Situation has become…

Influential? He seems pretty niche to me. He’s got to be almost ten minutes into his fifteen by now.

I have never watched the show. Doesn’t appeal to me. But he is seriously rocking a nice body.

Interesting and factual perspective from cdan:
“Apparently Abercrombie & Fitch thinks Jersey Shore is bad for their image. I know, I know. The company that straddles that dividing line between child porn and ads is somehow offended by the cast of Jersey Shore wearing their clothes.”

This jackass should try & make as much money as possible for his retirement, considering he went to the same school as the Karhashians, majoring in famous for nothing 101.

If business is hurting, maybe A&F should lower the cost of their overpriced clothing.

It’s always interesting at Christmas time to walk by one of their stores at the mall to see what hot young thing is in the doorway, and what they aren’t wearing.

A & F needs someone to blame their poor sales on I guess. Why not “The Situation”? I think you are right Denise, A & F clothes are too pricy!

“Dimes”, I think “The Sitch” in pushing his 15 minutes of fame into 25 right about now.

He thinks too much of himself..

Isn’t this the same company that only hires very attractive, young people to work for them? There was a story a few years ago about a girl getting fired when they realized she had a fake arm. No handicaps for their workers! The company is disgusting and would never see a dime of my money.

Influential? Maybe to Janet? But really at her age I doubt she is rushing to buy an overpriced T-shirt.

I can’t stand the show with the famous for being famous nobodies on there and really can’t stand that store and their creepy ads.

I should add that my daughter has a friend who works in an A&F store, and they are required to wear A&F clothing to work. They get a fairly decent discount, but considering young adults working part time and making not much over minimum wage . . . how ridiculous is that.

Oh, and they spray their perfume all over the clothing when they fold it which is why many people I know can’t even walk by the store without retching.

Love him or hate him, this guy is a loudmouth who doesn’t hesitate to tell it like he sees it- but there’s one thing he NEVER talks about: his prostate problem. Long story short: he LEAKS! He likes to project an image of macho virility, but under his custom made suits are custom made “diapers.” He’s VERY self-conscious and has absorbent but undetectable “panty liners” sewn into all his underwear, to avoid wet spots. Thanks to his arrogant behavior, he has more than a few enemies and he’s terrified his secret will be exposed and he’ll be forever ridiculed!
