2003: Halle Berry didn’t realize that her Die Another Day costar Pierce Brosnan was an avid painter. Recently Pierce called Halle and told her he’d just finished a gorgeous painting he was particularly proud of. It was inspired by Halle and he named it after her and intended to send it to her as a gift. When the painting arrived, Halle excitedly opened the package, curious to see her likeness. Imagine her surprise when she pulled out the artwork and found it was totally abstract – it didn’t look like ANYTHING- much less her. The puzzled but polite Halle sent Pierce a sweet thank you note for the personal portrait.
