Someone please tell Adam Sandler that he’s not a teenager any more – he’s 44 years old and most of his fans aren’t so young either. His new movie “Just Go With It” (he produced it) seems to be a romantic comedy aimed at 11 year old boys obsessed with bathroom jokes. This has to be one of the lamest scripts in Hollywood history and a huge embarrassment to all the actors involved. It’s a shame, because likeable Adam and Jennifer Aniston actually make an appealing onscreen couple, but all the flat juvenile jokes destroy any “romantic” notions. The scenery and locations are lush, but every dumb comment and contrived situation causes viewers to wince. Both Sandler and Aniston deserve better and these unspeakably bad writers should consider other vocations. Perhaps Adam should consult Steve Martin about how an SNL comic can age gracefully.

Every Adam Sandler movie is full of lame, slapstick comedy. His movie is geared to young teenagers.
The only movie of AS I ever really enjoyed was Spanglish, and this was more of a dramatic role for Sandler.
The only good Adam Sandler movie is “Punch Drunk Love” which was a serious role for him.
Its really bad. Every Jennifer Anniston movie is boring and dull and ticket purchasers are screwed on quality while she makes $$$$. Same is true for any Jennifer Lopez song…the producers know her singing is so bad they just dub the music over it but the latest one is as foolish as a Bollywood music video. The purchasers are screwed and she pockets $$$$.

Adam Sandler needs to select more roles like Punch Drunk Love, and then his skills, if he has any, would be showcased. Sort of like Robin Williams who finally got roles playing creeps, which seems to finally suit him.

The only terrific movie I’ve seen Aniston in is “The Good Girl” — a wonderful little indie.
I had a feeling this new movie was a dud for a few reasons… 1) Aniston is all over the airwaves promoting it, and 2) It’s being released in February. Big budget films released in January and February are traditionally awful.

While I understand what Janet is arguing, she forgets something called “THE MARKETPLACE.” Adam makes these movies because they usually make MONEY. And as Janet forgets, Hollyweird is about MAKING MONEY. So, as long as these vapid Sandler movies make money, he’ll keep making them. His foray into serious dramas were duds. Thus why you don’t see him making them any more of them.

I believe Sandler is the one who plays the same in each role. I myself was sick to death of him just on SNL alone. He practically ruined that show for me after all those long great years. He’s HORRIBLE at comedy, and his hideous Neuw Yawk accent makes me want to cringe! He’s a big, goofy, unattractive, out of shape, butt ugly unfunny guy. He needs to take the money and run…and run…and run…and never ever ever make another effin movie as long as he lives…get out from in front of the CAMERAS!!!
