AGYNESS DEYN DOESN’T FLAUNT HER SUCCESS

Eccentric British model Agyness Deyn will probably never be on the cover of Sports Illustrated, but she’s undoubtedly a favorite with the most idiosyncratic designers in Europe. Every time we see her she’s changed the color of her hair, or shaved her head completely. We can’t picture her spending hours in salons getting beauty treatments and hair extensions. Off-duty she’s anti-glam and looks like a rock star, but she shines on the runway or in front of a camera. She even replaced Angelina Jolie as the face of Shiseido.

  1. I’m beyond shocked this person is a “model”. Her legs are shapeless -straight up & down. And her face reminds me of the always sullen looking girl from the Twilight movies, Stewart, I think her name is. Constantly photographed looking like she hates the world and would rather be doing ANYTHING other than having her picture taken and be a celebrity. Fine, let’s make their wishes come true!

  2. She looks like a concentration camp survivor. Who finds this attractive?

  3. Gee, Janet, you hard up for stories? This is the second Deyn story you’ve posted about her not flaunting her success or going incognito.

  4. Ummmm, and this is supposed to be interesting? If I wanted to see pictures like this, I’d just go down to the homeless shelter and put a dog in the picture.

    Oh yeah, a canine, too!

  5. She’s right up there with a fun loving, feisty, flirtatious, trend-setting, fashionable and free-spirited Olive Oy

  6. Who cares? I’m just mesmerized by the unfortunate little creature on the leash… is that a dog or a cat?

    Cross between the two?

  7. well, there sure is no other country where this……..CREATURE……….would succeed as in the united states.
THIS TELLS YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE COUNTRY ITSELF…….

  8. Yeh, what is that speckled rat she’s walking? It looks as freaky as her!

  9. She gave birth to that alien mutation on the leash.

  10. She’s got an ego that defies explanation. She’s something like Jane Smith from the wrong side of the tracks and came up with that weird ass spelling of Agnes. Plus I get all the fash rags and she’s not been in any lately.

  11. Deyne has real beauty, unlike the barbie dolls that America now idolizes. She is also more than just some model – she has personality and charisma on the catwalk, and on the page. And she has style that is the result of actual thought as opposed to media overload and consumerism. America used to be known for this type of model – Lauren Hutton, Angelica Huston, Sigourney Weaver, Pat Cleveland, Janice Dickenson. What happened? – Seems models are an interesting barometer of cultural decay.

  12. You know why she did that ?

To set herself from the rest of the fasion models. And short hair is much easier to managed as compared to long.

But, ironically women who wear short hair, start acting like men. I see it time and time again, they loose the feminity of a lady and start acting like a dude or perhaps she’s the dude in her dyke relationship. As how can one tell two women apart, but only by the way one wears their hair and act.

  13. One thing is she can walk around in society as a complete reject and not get hit on by men.

As she looks like a dyke.

  14. She has her own style and at her age it’s normal to experiment. I was also rocking a bald head back in a day. Big deal. Well said Sebastian! Agy doesn’t look like those overbotoxed and overbaked barbie dolls America is used to. On one hand you criticize Heidi Montag, on the other you expect a model to look like one. Get a grip people. She is different and good for her!

  15. I’m with Reta. She looks like she’s going into combat with those boots. Her skirt (culottes) is spattered with paint or something. I don’t know how she looks or acts on the runway, but in this pic…….braaaaack.
