AL PACINO:THESE SHOES ARE MADE FOR WALKING

We never get tired of running into Al Pacino. Here he is walking in Beverly Hills with a taller unidentified friend. The Godfather and Scarface legend doesn’t get photographed much, so each picture is a nice little treat. Al has a penchant for wearing black, usually punctuated by some kind of scarf, and he’s always rumpled. We can live without the orthopedic shoes, but he still looks fine.

   I forget the name of those shoes, but the soles are not flat, but a cresent shape. You are supposed to wear them for a a small walk every day to help with like posture and general foot health.

   Are you nuts?!?!? Those “orthopedic shoes” which you refer to are MBTs. They are extremely expensive and extremely comfortable and anyone would be damn lucky to have a pair. (I am that lucky myself.)

    The kids look nothing alike. The girl has rheumatoid arthritis and failing eyesight, among other maladies and the boy has mental issues and is very bizarre. They are a mess.

    What he needs to be wearing is a gym outfit like his friend walking with him is wearing.
