We confess we are torn when it comes to Alec Baldwin. As a performer (such as in “Blue Jasmine”) he can be perfectly delightful. His off-camera antics provide fodder for endless gossip stories because he doesn’t know when to shut up. THAT we love. But then there’s his obnoxious elitist side. He’s on the cover of New York magazine boo-hooing about his lack of privacy. He whines dramatically that he’s even willing to give up show business and move away from New York if necessary for the “safety and peace of mind of his family.” But would he and his family really be happy if he retired and moved to the suburbs? Let’s face it, ALL of Alec’s problems stem from his lack of self- control – his temper. THAT will follow him everywhere.

You had the loveliest wife and life with Kim Basinger, and a lovely daughter but you can’t quit being a rude and acting like a insane put down bully yeah? We are all the bad guys because we don’t faint and hang onto your every wise preaching word.. and filthy mouth, really they should adore the sharp and damning criticism you spew with venom when you blame others for not having your way? Such an important and perfect man, you cringe back and rage go away peasant if an everyday man wishes you a good day because you’re too special to respond naturally and respectfully to anyone not you! PS.. your wife loves all the publicity.. she will soon take your baby and wave good-bye

I disagree that all his problems stem from self control issues. He’s a self absorbed narcissist – the world has to revolve around him or look out, and problems are always the other person’s fault. He’ll never change.
