Back in the 90’s, Amanda de Cadenet was a wealthy exhuberant English girl married to Duran Duran musician John Taylor, who decided she wanted to become an actress. She moved to LA and did a few movies but decided she loved photography more. She photographed lots of actors like Keanu Reeves (he became her boyfriend) Demi Moore, and Drew Barrymore for magazines. She knew everyone and hit all the parties. When her marriage failed, she married another photo subject, The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi (above.) Demi Moore is producing Amanda’s new Lifetime show “The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet” debuting tonight, and with Amanda’s circle of friends, it’s bound to be interesting.

She wasn’t a fan of John’s music at all and was relieved that she didn’t have to listen to it anymore. She sold their wedding photos to Hello Magazine in spite John’s verbal objection to it.
That, to me, suggests that she might have only been married to John for his money, and to sait her whorish need for attention.
