American Idol is giving Jennifer Lopez a lot more than 17.5 million dollars to return to the show. Producers told her she could have anything she wanted and she handed over a list a mile long. Besides a gigantic trailer, she needs two spray tanners and an around the clock masseuse. According to Star magazine, she’s getting a ten thousand dollar a week wardrobe allowance. Her boyfriend Casper Smart has been added to the payroll as “choreographer.” Jen’s “no eye contact” rule will apply and she will be the ONLY female judge. But will all this indulgence save the struggling show?

idol is done. It had been done since Paula was put off. The Voice is so much better and fresher. :Lopez is getting paid to ride it down to the ground.
Quit watching Idol when J Lo showed up the first time. Amer Idol turned into the J Lo show. Every other week she was singing & dancing to a “New” song off her album. What about the kids on the show?? They kinda got lost & so did the audience ever since………

I despise her. She did concerts for dictators for $$$$$millions. Serenading crooks and a dictator from Eastern Europe and Russia and collecting $10 million for it. She sang Happy Birthday to the leader of Turkmenistan known for horrible human rights violations.
She is a shameful person. I loathe her and her shameful conduct all in the name of more money.
She’s one of the few actors I will not watch under any circumstances. I can’t stand her fake plastic face, her annoying voice, her lack of any discernable talent, and most of all, her completely shitty personality and selfish behavior which always shines through.
She better enjoy it because it’s probably curtains for Idol. That show is crap now.

It’s always those new money people that have the “no eye contact” rule. It is a lot more common than most would think. They also love the “never speak directly to me” clause. If there was a “don’t breath the same air I breath” clause they would enforce that too.

I hardly think that Lopez is so demanding. If she is? Oh well, she deserves it. I’d much rather look and listen to her than Carey’s idiotic, diva babble.
My only negative comment about Lopez is her grammar. It is astonishing to me that she would even make basic grammar mistakes, considering her mother is supposedly an educator. Lopez stated to two of the contestants on Idol…” One of you ARE going home and one of you ARE staying”. At the risk of making this comment sound like a grammar lesson, I must correct this statement. Last time I “looked” the pronoun “one” was singular, requiring a singular verb… Which is, “IS”. “One” is the subject, therefore the verb must agree with it…….”You” is the object of the preposition “of”.
Sorry for the tirade, but enough is enough. Education in this country is at its lowest and it is getting worse. Ms. Lopez is a role model….she is beautiful, smart, rich, and such a nice person……the least she could do is sound literate.
