AMY WINEHOUSE: BOOZE YES, WEED, NO

It’s the fabulous Amy Winehouse in a cute summer dress. Amy says she’s given up smoking marijuana. She told the British press: “People still think I smoke marijuana every day, but I stopped two years ago. Drinking has replaced weed. I can’t smoke now – my energy just crashes. I’m not a lazy person any more – I’d train every day if I could.” Maybe that explains how Amy lost all that weight – she gave up smoking AND the resulting munchies!

   For crying out loud, if you people only listened to artists with no substance abuse problems, your selection would be quite limited. Billie Holiday was a junkie as was Miles Davis and Charlie Parker. They were all “whores” at one point or another. If your delicate sensibilities are offended, I would direct you to your local Wal Mart for a fine selection of innocuous music.

    I dont give a crap what you guys say-Amy Winehouse writes her own music and she has a helluva voice. She has problems like anyone else. If you actually listened to her music, you would see she sings about her drug and boy problems. I hope she gets soem help and beats her addictions. LOVE YOU AMY!!!!
