AMY WINEHOUSE VISITS BLAKE IN PRISON

Amy Winehouse finally got to visit her husband Blake in prison and they were both reportedly in tears. Blake is locked up because he allegedly attempted to bribe a man that he beat up outside a pub, into not pressing charges. (Isn’t that what’s called a “settlement” in the US?) Ironically, the victim is ALSO charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and HE was arrested also. Amy stopped at a store near the jail to buy Blake a carton of cigarettes and some snacks.

   Sounds like they can still smoke in UK jails. That’s all about all I gleaned from this “scoop”.

   FYI, a PRISON is where people go after being convicted. JAILS sometimes house people who are convicted but that’s where people who can’t make bail or held without bail are sent to await trial. Think she went to visit him in jail, not prison.
