ANDRE AGASSI: MR T WOULD BE FLATTERED

It’s hard to imagine, but when this photo of Andre Agassi dressed up as Mr T for Halloween appeared on Twitter, some people were outraged! Agassi was appropriately decked out in a mohawk, gold chains, and camo to resemble the 80’s “A-Team” TV star. SOME sportswriters were actually offended by Agassi’s outfit and chided him for bringing back “black face!” Yes, blackface! What’s wrong with these people? It looks like certain self-righteous individuals are just looking for trumped up reasons to take offense so they can feel morally superior. To them we say “Get a life!”

  1. It’s a Halloween costume! These are the occasions when those who are so politically correct really piss me off.

  2. Hockey player Raffi Torres recently went through the same thing when he dressed as Jay Z this past Halloween. People just can’t quite showing their racist stripes I guess!

  3. it is not your place to tell people what they should feel or not feel.

  4. These people who dress in ‘black face’ have no idea how offensive it is to American Negroes.

  5. How do YOU know Mr T wouuld be flattered by this nonsense?
    Do you read minds too?
There are not many people walking about with mohawk hair cuts and a 100 pounds of gold necklaces sp there was no need for Agassi to go there with his costume for Halloween, most people could have figured out his costume without the addition of the blackface!
Some people think you are too sensitive about animal rights when you complain about Michael Vick.
Do you think you are overly sensitive about the Vick situation or do you believe you should be allowed to feel and think as you do without being slammed for your thoughts?

  6. My girlfriend went as a very believable early 80s Michael Jackson a few years ago… black make up and all. No one give her crap about it and girls were flirting with her all night long thinking she was a guy. Which was funny in itself. Drag queens don’t offend me so I don’t understand why people in make up offend others who think they are PC. Unless you are going as Al Jolson or a member of the KKK who gives a flying fcuk what you wear for a costume party?

  7. O really? SO if I dress up as a member of SS wearing a Nazi swastika, no one should give a flying fuck, huh?
It’s NOT your place to tell people what they ought to feel about a thing.
If you intent was not to offend with your ridiculous costume you would not be here defending your bullshit. If it was “just a costume” and not a white supremacist exercise, you would accept that some people(not all) recognize your blackface as disrespectful.
Why do you have to go out of your way to prove you are an asshole?
File this topic under “sick white folks who dont give a shit about anything except being sick and white”.

  8. AnonTwo white people do not give a shit about mentally unstable minority pot stirrers like yourself. Go get a shrink you ridiculous whining fool.

  9. Samantha, striving to become a human being is a worthy goal for yourself. Try it, you might like yourself one day.
Ps. I do not give a shit what you give a shit about.

  10. PLEASE! PLEASE! White people….it is NOT cool to dress up as Black people and think that you are not upsetting Black people. Why don’t you just use the N word and be done with it. Oh, by the way…YES it is racist to do this “dress up!”

    STOP IT!!!!!!

Also, do not use Michael Jackson has a defense. Michael ONLY represents himself NOT the entire African-American race!
