Everyone talks about how beautiful Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s natural child Shiloh is, and which of her famous parents she most resembles. We can’t figure out why no one has pointed out that every day Shiloh becomes more of a dead ringer for her GRANDFATHER Jon Voight. He’s the grandfather that Shiloh has never met because Angelina is still feuding with him. The “Midnight Cowboy” star was quite a hottie in his day.

Yea, everybody always says she looks just like her father but I’ve always thought that she looks more like her Gramps from the blonde hair and blue eyes to the dimple in the chin.
I can’t wait to see what her twins look like.

She looks nothing like Voight. Shiloh has her father’s eyes and face, and her mother’s lips.

They won’t have to buy those big fake plastic lips for Halloween. $1 saved is $1 earned.

Shiloh has grandpa’s chin. What is their feud about and why won’t Jolie speak to him?

@ 6:54 AM Anonymous: He has said on several occasions that Angelina was mentally disturbed and needed psychological help. The rag mags grabbed hold of it, and played it up. This is not idle gossip; he did say this about her; she got pissed off about it, and she is still pissed off. He has tried several times to see her kids, but she always gave him the cold shoulder. He cried once on some show (can’t remember) and said he was sorry for saying it and could they make up for lost time. She won’t budge; she was mad big time, when he said she was ‘nuts’; HE WAS CORRECT BIG TIME.

Brad Pitt eyes all else Angelina. Jon; supreme moronic-whiner uses people to get ahead and dumps wife and family to have the best for himself in life. Payback hit him in the face when he got older now he wants what his wealthy talented daughter has earned for herself., and is blackmailing her publically to shut up. He is not worthy of love and will always be a jerk, leech, mean-spirited, untrustworthy man.

No one has a right to deny a child the right to know their grandparents is the most selfish and immature act on the part of a parent ..She is the biggest hypocrite can she teach her kids about love and world peace when she is at war with her father over a mistake he made out of concern for her well being?

Amber, my photocopier can reproduce, that doesn’t make it a parent.
It is NOT selfish or immature to keep innocent children away from monsters.
How many people have you come into contact with in your life that should never have children? If you give it some thought you’ll realize there is no one size fits all solution.

If all Angelina is mad about is that her father said she needed mental help, then she does need mental help. Get over it and move on. Sheesh. How immature.

Is a father a monster for saying his daughter needs help? really? he did make a mistake in making a public statement but that hardly makes him a monster. You really dont know what you are talking about, and if you are raising kids I feel sorry for them. At the end of the day family is family and they need to work through their issues and not arbitrarily deny these kids the right to know their grandfather

WHO FREAKIN’ CARES? Enough already with this wanna-be “family”.
This she-wolf is happy – she steals men from other women (Laura Dern, Jennifer Anniston to start with. Now she has a wimp to hold the orphans she collects while she does her own thing. What a witch.
    These two are boring. BORING.
But, remember, you reap what you sow. These two are laughable.

Voight is right to distance himself from his adulterous daughter. Jesus will spare him for this. That’s all folks!!!

    On May 15, 2008 at

5:39 PM: “You reap what you sow”. YES, this statement is in the Bible….”Whatsoever you sow, that shall ye also reap”. The latest thing these 2 adulterers have done is to declare that they would not get married until every state passed the law that gays could legally marry. At this time, they are riding high and mighty with a huge chateau in the south of France, many mansions in the states, huge property holdings. blah blah blah. They can be brought down in one instant by the Almighty, when the time is ripe, and they will be. No one should wish to be them.

Could it be that one of the main reasons she’s estranged from her Father is that he treated her Mother very badly when they were married and she witnessed all this? And Shiloh looks like Pitt with her lips.

Voight did more than just call her crazy, in public.
When Angelina adopted Maddox, she had no way of getting him into this country. He has no passport. Angelina had planned on quietly bringing him in on her passport, and then straighten out the legalities later. EXCEPT her father the JERK announced on TV what she was planning, so Angelina was barred from bringing the baby here. Instead Angelina took Maddox to Namibia, where she was working, unable to return with Maddox to the US. Namibia came to her rescue and issued a passport to Maddox, thereby allowing him to travel into the US with his mother. You can see why she loves Namibia so much, and why she had Shiloh there.
Her father is a despicable human being. And Shiloh looks NOTHING like him.

He did more than just call her a mental case. She won’t talk about it. She tried to have some sort of relationship with him during Tomb Raider and then he turned around and stabbed her in the back. Just because his sperm fertilized her mother’s egg–that doesn’t make him a father. It makes him a sperm donor. A real father wouldn’t have done the things he did to his kids. He wallowed in luxury after he left them and they were in bad financial straits. He rarely saw the kids when they were growing up. He has hurt her publically with his words on several occasions. She cut a cancer from her life that was draining. Jennifer Aniston did the same with her mom. As did Demi Moore. Drew Barrymore too. And many others. If you don’t understand this, then you are obviously lucky to have had caring parents. Many do not and are better off without them in their lives.

debutante, you have the right idea – Voight did jeopardize her adoption of Maddox by discussing it publicly before she received custody of Maddox – Cambodian adoptions were being investigated at the time. But the rest of your post isn’t quite right. She knew she had to wait to bring Mad to the US until the US govt finished its investigation & approved his passport & the automatic citizenship that came with it. So once Namibian filming was over she went home to England & waited a few months.
As soon as Jolie returned to the US she legally filed to drop “Voight” from her name. I always thought that her father’s televised attack on her a few months later was in retaliation for that. Charlton should realize this.
As for Shiloh’s looks. She looks like a great combo of her parents. Also her grandparents – Voight included. There was a time she looked just like Brad’s mom. Charlton should also know about Voight’s rather wild & irresponsbile history. He hurt a lot of people, Angelina’s mom included. You can forgive without having to endure that parent or expose your own kids to his hurt.

Re. Angelina’s possible ‘stance’ towards her dad – it’s a difficult situation as I have experienced and maybe, like I did, she is waiting for the children to be old enough to make their own decisions about their relationship with their grandad,
I had a very violent aggressive arrogant father- rather misogynistic toward women (as sort of inferior) but us kids could never get our mother to leave him, so we were sort of blackmailed into accepting dad so we could keep contact with our mum. I was the only sibling to have children, two daughters. After mum died I had a huge row with my father and cut off from him – BUT a counselling friend told me I should not pass on my bad relationship with my dad onto my daughters. SO, when they were old enough to understand 11 and 9yrs), I told them I was angry with their granddad but how did they feel about him? They both said they loved him and wanted to see him. . . .
thwarted BUT honest, I arranged for them to spend time with him every Sunday in our local park (beautiful Greenwich Park, London, UK). Dad became a ‘good’ person while in their company- and I kind of decided that my daughters had given him a second chance to be a decent ‘dad’.
Now he is dead, we all laugh about his antics and furies, but my daughters still ‘look back’ and recqall those happy times with him in the park.
They had no dad on the paternal side as he’d died when my husband was 3yrs old, so I guess at the end of the day they can feel that they had a grandpa who had some ‘good bits’.
My eldestdaughter now 24 tells us she is gay, and explains that she finds women so much nicer and more considerate than men – any connection do you think?? (her dad is a mild gentle sort so no clues there, altho actually being an artist he is mostly wraped up in his own world.
