What IS the big deal about the white powder on Angelina’s cheek? It has been described as an “EPIC DISASTER” and “MAJOR MISHAP” in media outlets too numerous to mention. What’s the big deal? A genuine makeup disaster might be mascara smeared and running down the face a la Courtney Love on a bad day. But a little powder? We DO wonder why Brad didn’t notice and brush the powder away – doesn’t he LOOK at her? We assume Angelina is above all this and has no intention of punishing her makeup artist for an errant powder puff.

If you look at everything else but her face, she is actually horrid. Skeletal, covered in ghastly tattoos. This poor woman needs to “find time” to eat again, because she certainly has issues.
Maybe her coke lab blew up?
It’s a makeup trick so that her face, where the powder is located, won’t photograph too gaunt.
I agree though, Angie’s body is disgusting and those tattoos are so low class. White trash.

The type of face powder her makeup person mistakenly used is meant strictly for film and TV use. It’s invisible to the naked eye (which is why Brad didn’t brush it off, as you erroneously commented, Janet: HE DIDN’T EVEN SEE IT!). This powder ONLY becomes visible with flash photography–which is why all those other powder “mistakes” often seen ARE often seen.

I’ve never understood the appeal of Brad Pitt… Especially so since in this and other later photos he seems to be morphing int a sort of cone head .either that or his jaw is growing out at the sides!

As a couple of people have already pointed out her makeup artist applied a special powder used for high definition film. In flash lighting it flares out white. Most of the makeup was done using regular powder. And then some quick touch ups must have been done using the special HD powder by mistake. We have seen this mistake done before on other actresses, like when their under eye area flares out as looking too white, etc.
Now as far as Ms Jolie looking too thin. Surely you have read about her health problems regarding Cancer. The way she has been so brave and continues to handle these very serious health issues with such grace and dignity, only attests to her strength of spirit. Which contributes to her amazing beauty.
