Fake Rolex watches have been around for a long time so we were surprised to hear that John Mayer was suckered into buying a large number of them – and he’s not happy about it. Mayer bought vintage designer watches from a shifty friend of Charlie Sheen named Robert Maron – for bargain prices. (Always be suspicious when someone offers to sell you a Rolex at a discount price!) Mayer enjoyed giving them as gifts to his numerous girlfriends, including Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston. They were impressed by his generosity! The watches turned out to be fake and Mayer is suing Maron. We’re betting his most recent ex, Katie Perry, is taking a close look at all the jewelry he gave her .…

Robert Maron is NOT shifty. He sells some older Rolex watches with Non Rolex parts in them due to age in order for them to run. And as a watch dealer the clients know about the parts that are replacement parts. Mayer needs money so he is doing this.
