Anderson Cooper is fond of Erica Hill, who works as news anchor on his CNN news show. Their flirty banter on-air keeps viewers amused. Recently Erica had a major baby problem. Her husband was out of town and her nanny was temporarily unavailable. Erica didn’t want to miss work, but CNN has strict rules against bringing babies to the office. Anderson finagled to get the rules bent for her and he partitioned off an area in the office for the baby and designated an intern to care for the baby. Since then, Erica tells everyone that Anderson is the best boss and mentor that she’s ever had.

I think it’s great that he helped out a co-worker in a jam, if it was a man whose wife/nanny couldn’t help, it would always be assumed that the individual could bring the child into work – don’t most places have daycare of sorts?
