Arnold Schwarzenegger knows how lucky he is. It seemed like the end of the world when Maria discovered he had a child with their housekeeper and filed for divorce back in 2011. But they parted in a very civilized manner (they never bothered to finalize the divorce) and Maria remained friendly to keep the family together. The kids like it this way and they all convened to celebrate dad’s 73rd birthday. Patrick posted this photo on Instagram.

Nice to see them maintaining close family ties, no doubt through lots of forgiveness.
I do not understand the whole “not divorcing” thing since they have been separated for years and have other partners. I am also sorry to see that Maria is so unrecognizable with her “ironed” face. I had expected with her honesty and integrity she would have chosen the path of her mother and allowed the aging process occur naturally.
I believe the close family ties area all about the Benjamins!
