We have no plans to see it, but the fact that Tom Cruise’s latest Mission Impossible epic is a huge success will no doubt bolster public interest in Scientology and boost ratings for Leah Remini’s A&E series Scientology and the Aftermath. Coincidentally or not, we hear that Leah plans to focus on Cruise for the third season of the series. (The church started up its own TV network in March, which has been described as an “extended church infomercial” pointing out the church’s generosity and good deeds.) Because of the Tom Cruise scrutiny, our hero Remini admits she expects the church’s harassment of her will increase accordingly and she’s taking appropriate security measures.

The mormons are far more dangerous than scientology
Because of Cruise’s slavish devotion to this cult, I have ZERO desire to see the film. I did enjoy the recent Tom-Cruise-and-James-Corden-Go-Skydiving adventure (which promoted this movie) of a week or so ago… but, I like Corden. Still, even though the bit was well scripted and funny, I couldn’t help thinking (while watching) that Cruise completely abandoned his daughter for his religion. Unless she becomes a Scientologist, or, he leaves the cult (VERY unlikely) they are unlikely to ever meet again. Very, very sad.
This cult is evil and needs to be abolished. A neighbor tried to get us to go to a meeting at the center but we declined all the while she was bragging how it is so amazing. One day her ex came by while she was talking to all the neighbors and started screaming at her in front of everyone. It seems she was using the money he gave her for the kids to take auditing classes and the bank account was overdrawn. She quickly went into the house and the ex soon after petitioned the courts and won custody of the kids.
Now she is broke and only has her income as a waitress. Nothing wrong with being a waitress but she wants to stay in the church but she cant afford the fees so she is begging anyone who will listen for a loan or trying to recruit more members. No one is having it and the house went into foreclosure. She cant go back to her parents as they despise this cult and she will be going to a woman’s shelter soon. Funny how she cant see how these parasites are ruining her life.
