Ashlee Simpson, 32, got married to Evan Ross, 28, just in the nick of time when her career started going off the rails. She actually had a music career until 2009 when she was caught lip-syncing on Saturday Night Live and the public never forgave her. She had a few acting jobs but quit to try and resurrect her music career. She hoped to carve out a successful fashion business like her sister Jessica Simpson, but it fizzled out. She married Evan in 2014 and their baby girl Jagger is 1. Luckily, Evan has been getting acting jobs since he did The Hunger Games. He and Ashlee are optimistically planning to record together and introduce a his and hers fashion collection. Whatever – they seem happy and are obviously still best friends.

I’m always amazed when I see someone like this guy out in public. I have to wonder, did he look at himself in the mirror before he left the house and think “oh yeah, this looks good”? It boggles the mind.
