What a nice ending to a potentially sad story. Ashley Judd and her Scottish race car driver husband Dario Franchitti are back together after separating in January. And it’s all because of his racing accident. Last month he had a devastating crash and Ashley rushed to his side in the hospital. He recovered slowly and doctors advised him not to drive again. Instead of being foolish, he decided to retire from racing. That’s exactly what Ashley hoped for, and they are a happy couple again.

….His estranged actress wife Ashley Judd rushed to his hospital bedside on the day of his crash. Despite rumblings of a reconciliation, several media sources indicate he has moved on with a new girlfriend who may soon become his fiancee. That said, Judd re-tweeted Franchitti’s retirement statement.
I heard they had infertility issues and Dario refused to adopt.

No one is as delusional as mother Naomi Judd, She started the farewell tour business and rode it for years and big $$$$$. She was a constant caller to talk radio and expounded on world affairs, showing a poor lack of understanding.
Ashley followed in her footsteps and was about to run for Senator of KY and had all the rainbow crowd telling her how she could win but horrified political people like Bill Clinton new she was a disaster and talked her out of it.
Dario will retire after a tragic wreck but most likely will get away from this looney as soon as it is out of the news.
I read he has a girlfriend and was not interested in getting back together with this crazy woman. Ever since I read the article about a trip to Africa she took with a group I have loathed her, she is such a primadonna. The whole Judd family is weird.
What does Dario see in this unattractive crazy woman? He can do much better. I also predict this won’t last. All the Judds are mental cases, looking at their past history, they are all nuts.

Well those rumors of a reunion were probably planted by Ashley since Dario has said in interviews that he couldn’t remember the accident or anything that happened for SIX WEEKS after the accident!
Dario is now remarried to an English woman named Eleanor Robb (now Eleanor Franchitti) who gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Sofia, last fall. Dario is living full time in the UK. His new wife is a knockout!
I don’t know them but oddly, when I googled “Dario Franchitti” + “child” or something like that, Eleanor Robb’s name came up!
From what I read on gossip sites, Judd had fertility issues and the puffy face that she blamed on steroids for a sinus infection, was really due to taking fertility drugs. I dunno. In any event, the fertility problems (if any) were clearly not on Dario’s side.
Ashley Judd is on record as saying “it’s unconscionable to breed.” I wonder if she told Dario that when he and his current wife had a child!
