Avril Lavigne’s Brazilian fans are making fun of her rules for taking photos with her. She’s very popular in Brazil and her loyal fans stood in line after her concert and handed over over $350 each to pose for a photo with her. But she wouldn’t get anywhere NEAR them! She kept a huge distance with a “no touching” rule. The fan above created a website with his photo and invited others to submit theirs. He pointed out that while Britney and Justin Bieber charge more for photos with fans, at least they get close and look friendly. And Lady Gaga gets friendly in photos for NO CHARGE at all!

I find this very interesting because a friend of mine — a high school senior, so I’m actually friends with her parents! — was in LA last week and ran into her shopping. Avril was SUPER nice to her and even asked her, “Would you like my autograph?” The parents and their daughter were very impressed. 🙂

Why on earth would anyone give their hard-earned money to any celebrity-type for a photo? I could see if the money was being raised for charity, then it might be appropriate, but just to put in the pocket of the celebrity? Are you kidding me?
