We think Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum is far kinder to our next president Barack Obama, than Time magazine is to him with this cover. The wax figure is a decent likeness with a pleasant aura. On the other hand, there’s something vaguely disturbing about his face on Time’s cover. He deserves better.
I don’t like any of them. He looks like a goofball and acts very effeminate. I’m so sick of him – argh! What is the deal? You’d think he parted the seas and walked on water.
I dread the next four years for a multitude of reasons. I hope our constitution is still in tact by then. He is soooo wrong for this country.
Concerning security I worry for this country.

On the Inauguration invitations: He is listed as Barack H. Obama. I can guarantee you this: Every other president has had their entire full name ALWAYS spelled out on the invite: Example: I remember GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH.
WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON., etc. Obama does not want his middle name (HUSSEIN) spelled out on the invitations. Many experts believe he is a Muslim, because he was born into it. Draw your own conclusions.

As for me: I think the statue captures the casualness of him fairly well, the ease and comfortableness of the man. I agree the Times cover is off, it’s the eyes, they appear to be squinting, and they made the nose look bigger too I think.

ps: People bash Bush ut he DID keep our country safe for 8 years and we do not have privy to top secret information. Obama changed his campaign tune really quick as soon as he was filled in on details about the state of our nation and he has kept a lot of the Bush prinicples in tact so far. I think Bush deserves a lot more credit and I feel 15 years down the road he will be vindicated in some ways. We NEED democracy in all corners of the world and I think he had a lot of tough issues on his plate. The attack on 9-11 was planned YEARS before he got in office and ANY president would have had the same thing happen to them on that day. I reserve judgement on Bush because he did what he felt he had to do to keep us safe and he did a good job with that. SAFETY is our #1 concern as far as I am concerned.
