Barbara Hershey, 62, and “Lost” star Naveen Andrews,41, had a nice long run of 12 years together but it’s finally over. Their 21 year age difference made their longevity even more remarkable. In 2005, during a brief split, Naveen fathered a baby boy with another woman and Barbara still took him back. Recently, Naveen has been photographed spending more time with his little boy Naveen Joshua. He and Barbara actually split six months ago and didn’t bother to mention it.

Janet: now that I’ve got those two morons put right, I can address your post…why SHOULD they have to come forward and say anything about their splitting up? People split up all the time, and don’t have to go around announcing it to the world.
In your first pic above, she looks radient and lovely and every bit his equal in the looks deparment. She kept herself up over the years, and he apparently isn’t the shallow type (good for him) andwas attracted to her for more than just her pretty face.
Too bad more people in “Hollywood” don’t follow this example, maybe things would last longer and be more successful if they did.

I can remember when she lived with David Carradine for 4 years in the 70’s. She was then known as Barbara Seagull. She was the very definition of a flower child, weed and other drugs were the highlights of her and David’s life. She admitted that and I guess was proud of it, because this was common back then. After splitting with Naveen, wonder what she’s doing now. If she likes women, I never read about it.
MamaSan: I remember those times too, and her going by that stupid name. I think it came from that movie or song or book “Jonathon Livingston Seagull”. And EVERYBODY was a flower child smoking weed and doing other drugs back then. Things were simpler then than they are now and the drugs were cleaner and less dangerous than they are today. She has NEVER been reported to be with a woman and has always had very manly men, so I don’t know what THAT crap is all about!
Barbara is absolutely gorgeous, and that Naveen looks like a caveman.
Woman who chase after younger men are so foolish. If the man has anything going for him, it’s just a matter of time. Instead of building a relationship that could last, she instead stroked her vanity and now, facing old age, she has neither man nor vanity.
Every woman does not necessarily want a man or husband for the long haul. Good companionship is what we all need in old age. If that does not include marriage, so be it.
This is probably Demi Moore’s future. Barbara was a cool chick and still is. Unless she comes out the closet stop passing rumors.
