From the 40’s thru the 70’s, Nat Dallinger was the most important celebrity photographer in Hollywood. Studios loved him and actors palled around with him. Nat’s legacy is 58,000 photos, many unseen, that were recently donated by his estate to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. These are two of our favorites just published in The Hollywood Reporter.

In 1963 Barbra Streisand and Natalie Wood were photographed at The Coconut Grove. Natalie, 25, was already a huge star, and 21 year old Barbra was just starting out. She already had those nails…
Elvis Presley was promoting his movie G.I. Blues in 1960 and his costar was Juliet Prowse. Can you tell by her look that she had a huge crush on him?

  1. who is in the 4/11 pic with a young Michael Douglas? I cannot think of her name…Bridget? Graham? She was an actress too. BTW nice pics to look at.

  2. Barbra, Natalie and Juliet all got a piece of the handsomest man who ever lived.
    Yummy Yummy

  3. The wrong person died. Elvis was typically a very generous and friendly guy. Streisand is a malicious hate filled kunte of a woman.

  4. That’s not a very flattering picture of Natalie Wood, her features look big. She looks like Katherine? Heigl who played Izzy on that Dr show.

  5. I’ve always thought Streisand had a big nose…but Blimey … A bottle of Champers and one could have lave launched the QE2….. that’s a seriously major, ugly nose. How does she look at herself every morning.!

  6. Noblecascade: I think the woman with Michael Douglas is Brenda Vaccaro. They were together for years (the Streets of San Francisco era)

  7. Her nose is only a smallish defect. If you get a closeup at her face w/o photoshop or makeup you have the proverbial 40 miles of bad road set before you.

  8. That picture was about the time Frank Sinatra was regularly pounding Juliet Prowse, wasn’t it?

  9. strom you’ve never regularly pounded anyone, probably can’t even do it to yourself.

  10. Poor, poor Gone…hiding behind so many names and unable to comment on a thread.

Juliet wasn’t Elvis’s type and neither was Natalie Wood, even for quickies.

  11. @Strom, don’t you get it ?

People think you’re a creep and a liar. No one responds to the content of your posts, except to abhor your steady drip of race hatred and bigotry. Get help

  12. Poor little Bella,,,hiding behind many a name….it’s not about posters, you don’t seem to get it! Get help.

  13. blah blah blah, lesbian stuff, blah blah blah, black stuff, blah blah blah, knarly dyke stuff, blah blah blah, jew stuff, more black stuff, blah blah blah, anal sex stuff, blah blah blah, enabler stuff, gay vagina stuff, lies about Afghanistan, blah blah blah, completely off topic stuff, blah blah blah, herpes stuff, blah blah blah,
where’s the stuff on the terrible effects of inbreeding Strom ? too close to home I guess …

  14. Poor SOS, a new day and a new name it seems. But always trying to imitate Strom…trying to be Strom but just can’t pull it off.

  15. @STROM, U R wrong.
Natalie Wood must have been his type, as she visited Graceland several times, each time for about a week. That is a fact. I don’t think they played Monopoly.

  16. Thanks for the news, never heard that before. Knew they had had a failed meeting in Vegas.

  17. Hey ! we do ! geez,

when were not peeking through strangers windows, huffing paint thinner or torturing small animals, we aspire to be like Herr Strom in every way.

ie; Small minded, bigoted, racist and a rather clumsy liar.

  18. @Strom, I think your constant stream of foulness is catching up with you.

  19. Poor little posers, they all want to be Strom but can’t make the cut.

You can see Babs arrogance even at that time and a tiny wedding ring,,,was she married to the gay caballero then?

  20. Juliet gave it up and Natalie tried but its doubtful that Elvis pumped yentl Barb with that nose and annoying accent!
