BEING MARRIED TO SEAN PENN COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MUCH FUN, ANYWAY

We can’t say that we’re surprised that Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing. As we pointed out weeks ago, Robin showed up to support Sean at the premier of his movie Into The Wild but Sean did NOT accompany her to the premier of her film Beowulf. Years ago, when angry Sean moved his family to Northern California it did nothing to help his beautiful wife’s career, but of course, he was free to be wherever he needed to be for HIS career. Sean Penn seems like a guy who forgets to be grateful for all he’s got. Incidentally, Sean’s bad behavior is described in detail in a recent Whodunit on this site and many readers guessed his identity.

  1. They would not have stayed married this long if he was that bad. You seem really sad to have to put him down as much as you do. He’s one of the best actors/ directors out there, give him a break. Also, you make her seem weak and helpless and she does not seem that way at all.

  2. He’s an idiot. How she lasted this long with that commie-loving moron is beyond me.
And to top it off – he’s as ugly as an old mud fence.

  3. In September 2005, Penn traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to aid Hurricane Katrina victims. He was physically involved in rescuing people. He was and is supported by best-selling author Douglas Brinkley, a professor of history at Tulane University and archival historian for the city. The two were seen on CNN coverage Friday, September 2, as Penn, filthy, soaked, and exhausted, gave an impromptu interview about what he was seeing and doing, and obviously critical of the response until that time, stating that at that time he felt there was only “about one-fifth” the assistance and resources there that needed to be.

  4. You know why?
He loves FAGGOTS, but was married so he couldn’t. But now he is a single MORON again so it’s time for the boy’s, YOU ASSHOLE!!

  5. I am convinced that ‘gerard Vandenberg’ is really Janet, herself!

  6. Penns not gay Gerard but you are! Come on out and get it over with you little chickenshit gay poster!

  7. Good for Robin! Congrats. Sean is a bonafide jerk. So he went to Orleans,(purely for publicity.) I don’t see him there lately helping to rebuild or haven’t heard of him donating a million or two like Brad and Angie.

  8. Wow.
So, Robin-the-doormat FINALLY had enough of Sean’s sh*t, eh?
She should take as much of his money as the law allows, ditch the kids in boarding school and do everything humanly possible to forget the 11 years of her life that she wasted with this grossly overrated, insufferable, petulant, whiny assh*le.

  9. I know for a fact Sean Penn is still a raging cokehead he shares a drug dealer with a very famous band!! He and fellow druggy boozehound Vince Vaugh ripped up Folsom Street here in San Francisco couple of weeks ago.
Everybody in Frisco knows about Sean Penn!!!
Of COURSE Robin tweeked too! But finally she’s seen the light I guess he kicked her upside the head once too many times besides banging hoes.

  10. What was the bad behavior of his that was “described in detail in a recent Whodunit on this site”? I somehow missed that one.

  11. Hes a druggy drunk-raging mad commie creepy marriage cheater. And she was an idiot to marry him and let him lead her around as his pretend loving wife to ruin other lives. All he wanted to do is kill something in N. Orleans.. but boo hoo.. it was not to be.

  12. By the by, anyone born and raised in San Fransico knows that you are NEVER to refer to it as ‘Frisco’. That is code for tourist!

  13. When he visited that South American doctator and said h was a nice guy, that would’ve been it for me! Good for her!

  14. Yes, it takes two to tango. When he visited that South American dictator and said he was a nice guy, that would’ve been it for me!

  15. On October 18, 2002, Penn placed a $56,000 advertisement in the Washington Post asking President George W. Bush to end a cycle of violence. It was written as an open letter and referred to the planned attack on Iraq and the War on Terror. In the letter, Penn also criticized the Bush administration for its “deconstruction of civil liberties” and its “simplistic and inflammatory view of good and evil.”Penn visited Iraq briefly in December 2002.

  16. “I’m neither a peace activist nor a partisan politico and the letter I printed did not represent the platform of any movement, or speak with determination against any necessity. My letter spoke to questions of an American man and father, protected and encouraged by our Constitution, and obliged by my own individual sense of democracy and civic responsibility. I had been inspired to speak up by my love of my children, which recalled my admiration for our founding fathers, and the tradition of thousands of engaged men and women before me. In my own way, I sought to join all of them in waving the American flag. Following the printing of that letter, my public flag, I was hit by a tidal wave of media misrepresentation, and even accusations of treason. I experienced firsthand the repressive condition of public debate in our country, as it prepared for war. I was beginning to feel the price to be paid by a citizen exercising a position of dissent.”

  18. You go, girl. Find yourself a nice guy who will appreciate you and treat you well–in other words, someone who’s a 180 from Sean Penn.

  19. IS “AGING CASSANOVA” Sean Penn?
Wow!!! I can’t for the life of me see how he ever got Robin Wright. But a string of other women is just downright nasty.
If that is the cause of this divorce????

Cuz you don’t live here but you’re bringing some tired azz jive. I live SOMA!! I bet you have only visited FRISCO once. Also, rappers call it ‘SCO. YOU need to get hip, things change.
Also this thread is about SEAN PENN whom I’ve repeatdly added valid gossip about, unlike you.
Back to Sean. He’s ripping up FRISCO (North Beach) with some young girl he also loves boozing The Tosca Cafe and SOMA.
    Cheers from FRISCO.

  21. I love San Fran. Love North Beach. Stayed at the Fairmont both times I’ve visited that gorgeous city. Would love to live there, but how can one afford it?? Anyway, cheers to all who live in that wonderful place!

  22. Thank you 7:59 I work hard to pay San Francisco rents AND what about SEAN PENN tearing up North Beach???
btw I knew Robin Williams was headed to rehab loooong before he went, celebs let their hair down in SF, RW was at Pacha Mama in North Beach drinking from TWO BOTTLES OF BOOZE besides having cokejaw.
Nic Cage is another FRISCO druggie freak always at the DNA Lounge and SHARON STONE tweeked around these parts (she was married to editor of SF Chronicle), DON JOHNSON (bisexual cokehead)freaked all over town and others… George Lucas Francis Ford Coopla etc.
NOT COUNTING THE GAY AND DOWN LOW CELEBS GOING TO THE CASTRO (gay mecca)!

  23. Doesnt anyone think it is kind of too bad? I liked them together and they made good movies together.BTW, Janet, it is not true he didnt support her career. She actually made the best movie role choices the last 10 years. They could have been like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward but maybe that is not possible for any celebrity couple anymore because of how public everything is now
