Beyonce’s scalp must be extremely grateful. Her Mrs Carter tour ended a few days ago and her scalp gets a big workout when she’s on the road. Hot sweaty wigs and heavy extensions, not to mention bleaching and straightening, leaves her hair exhausted and damaged. How nice to see Beyonce free of weaves etc, and looking better than ever. (It’s time for a lot of celebrities to get rid of that ubiquitous long wavy fake hair) She was probably emboldened by Rihanna’s short cut – she lost none of her sex appeal. Beyonce posted photos of her new look on Instagram, hoping for a reaction and she got a good one.

You’re so right. Miley said she had 350 extensions in her hair. No wonder these girls cut it all off. How liberating.

It looks awful her, I can’t put my finger on it, but it kind of looks like her face/head is too big for that little hair. It’s kind of like if jennifer aniston cut her hair, it would make her uglier.

I like the cut and she looks cute, but longer hair better suits her face. Good for her though. All those extensions etc, over time, cause alopecia. A lot of these folks will have to wear wigs going forward because they will be bald i.e Naomi Campbell. And yes, it doesn’t just affect women of color.

Now all the dumbass has to do is her ROOTS. I’m sorry, but she looks ridiculous as a blonde. You know it’s fake, she tries so hard to be white. If that sounds racist, I don’t mean it to, it’s just that she looks so silly with blonde hair.

Uh hello, a lace front wig.

Beyonce reads blogs. She tends to make changes when she’s trending about anything that bothers her. An article was recently published that prolonged wear of lacefront wigs causes cancer of the forehead. Chemicals are applied to the foreheard area to firmly secure the wigs. Beyonce has been a slave to wearing fake hair. My natural hair is nearly waist-length. I learned how to grow it over a period of five years after watching youtube and searching for “black women with extremely long natural hair.” It’s a total myth black women can’t grow their natural hair extremely long. Check it out Beyonce! That blonde is not your best look. And she’s not trying to be white. What nonsense. She thinks light hair matches her light complexion. Black hair is too harsh for her gorgeous face. But the bright blonde is not working – I must agree.

Shut up Lola Lisa, you mean that blonde hair makes her look lighter it’s a common trick anyone can use to look lighter.

And beyonce, like lots of black celebrities uses bleaching creams. You’re not fooling anyone.

The short hair makes her look uglier, she needs that weave to cover up some of that face.

@Shelby – u are rite, but dont worry, theres nothing racist about it, its reality, only dumbasses jump the racism bandwagon. Generally speaking its terrible when one race pretends to be another aka whites pretending to be blacks – which is horrendous – and blacks pretending to be whites – which is ridiculous to say the least.

@ Lola Lisa, I agree with you. On the blog a lot of people were saying that black women cannot grow their hair. Which is not true. My hair is also long and I have never used weaves or wigs to add length to my hair. I have a lot of friends who also have naturely long hair without any help. Our hair just needs a little more TLC than other races. Beyonce would look great with light brown hair versus the blond. The blond looks very harsh and if she doesn’t watch it with the bleaching and the relaxing she will lose her hair permanently.

She got her weave stuck in a fan on stage, freaked out, and chopped everything off. End of story. I hate blonde hair with black roots, this look does not suit her

She should put the fake hair over her eyes so she won’t have to look at fugly Jay-Z, or J-Z, or J-Zee, or whatever his friggin’ name is.

@ Lola Lisa: I have seen more than my share of rudeness. I wrote something once and got 9 responses with cursing innuendos, which was just ducky with me. I thought I was famous. LOL

Or Gay-Z. Why does a grown man share an apartment with a baseball player in NYC, when he’s supposed to be living with his tranny looking wife.

And why does he always go after Nas’s leftovers. Nas said he couldn’t keep getting with beyonce, cause her breath stank, but gay-z got with her and with nas’s ex baby mamma Carmen jones. And then NAS destroyed gay z on the song ether. And gay z went on a radio show crying, copping out saying his mom told him to back away from that feud. There was no more feud Nas has annihilated him already.

ALL the hair on B’s body is naturally BLACK and kinky. SHe wants so badly to be white in order to keep her man and fame but what she gets is a foolish look of a street tramp. SHe can never be white and can only bleach her skin and try to hid her natural color. How foolish.

Dear Mr.Strom, hair on a Black persons body is as variegated as on any other human body. But, it seems like you’d prefer if actual biology, conformed to your narrow racist world views, but it doesn’t.

Blacks come (which you would have noticed, if you had ever really bothered to look) in an almost infinitesimal array of skin tones, hair types and textures.

We don’t all look, or sound like James Earl Jones nor Hattie McDaniel. I have three girls, the youngest of whom,is often mistaken for a white girl, while her sisters, have a much darker hue, and distinctly different hair types.

It astounds me, that you so constantly say the terribly offensive and indefensibly stupid things you do.

Something terrible must have happened to you early on, to make you so small in mind. I trust that when you see a person tanning, or applying makeup, or changing their hair colour, that you accost them and accuse them too of being ” race traitors”.

    Shame on you

My cousin (handsome white male) married a very pretty very black woman. They have two little girls, age 5 and 7, white skin, thick black curly hair and have won 8 trophies in beauty pageants. Live and let live, we all have problems, worries, and joys, each day brings something good or bad. Trust in the Lord, this life on earth is short.

Since age 8, I have not been racist and here is why: My mother told me a story about when she boarded a packed-out yellow bus. In the 3rd or 4th row, there was a heavy black lady with a baby. Mother was tired and she told the woman to get up and get to the back of the bus so she could sit down. Mother said the next day she started thinking of what she said and cried (true) for 2 hours and says she wishes she could apologize to her. I have remembered this story ever since.
