I believe – ah — erg — let’s ee — ahgrg — perhaps Beyonce is in the commercial because she is rather attractive, makes the reader look at her photograph, and that makes the reader look at the logo of the advertiser. No, that’s probably not right. Why would an advertiser want people to look at their logo? Naw, that’s not right. Let me try again. Um. Augrgrhhrrrg. The advertiser is trying to spend money to deduct from their taxes. Arggghu. Um. No. That ain’t it. Um. YOU ARE ALL SO FUCKING STUPID THAT IT IS A RIOT. BEYONCE IS MODELING IN THE SHOOT BECAUSE THE ADVERTISER KNOWS WE WILL BE TALKING ABOUT IT, WHICH DRAWS ATTENTION TO THEM, WHICH IS THE JOB OF AN ADVERTISER (TO DRAW ATTENTION). PLEASE, CAN PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY RAISE THE I.Q. LEVEL BEYOND AN AVERAGE OF 50?

if you want to see beyonces real hair then just watch the loreal ads, loreal are legally obligated to show their models real hair or they will be sued for false advertising , beyonce has natrually curlyand wavy hair which was sandy blonde when she was a child

You seem to have some serious self esteem issues. I’m a Latina and I doubt seriously that you are Latina. You express enirely too much nastiness toward natural Black hairstyles. If you were really Latina with “long straight hair” you would not concern yourself with the natural hair styling options chosen by Black women since its not your issue. Your alleged long straight hair doesn’t make you any better or more beautiful than a Black woman who wears a natural hairstyle. Black women have the right to choose how to wear their hair and they, not you, decide what is beautiful for them. Stop trying to make yourself feel better by putting down other people’s personal characteristics. Spew your racist tirades elsewhere.

To all of the truly ignorant individuals who posted ignorant comments on this one issue that-turned around twelve times. Beyonce is half Creole and half African American. As you can plainly see, her Mother is obviously not 100% black, thus she has geneology that would probably make her hair longer than the average African American female. I am part Creole myself and I am very well informed about my heritage. You guys should really look into what “Creole” is and where it came from. Yes, Beyonce(amongst a host of other celebrities) wears wigs, extentions, and pieces. Someone intelligent individual made a comment earlier, that, it would be hazardous to a celebrities’ own hair to wash, dry, curl, iron, and style as often as they have to make appearances. If they did things like normal people and wore the same style over and over, I’d bet they’d get just as much negativity. Plus it’s very true Beyonce promotes hair and facial COLOR, stop confusing it! So please people, either get a life and stop making yourselves look foolish posting ridiculous remarks on theses kinds of sites, or gain the facts and post remarks that make you look like you have common sense!

You folks kill me. It’s a known fact that all the models that L’oreal have under contract use some type of augmentation for their hair. White, Black, Asian, Hispanic…double processing any type of hair will cause breakage and baldness can occur from wearing weaves. Jessica Simpon, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie etc. all have extensions and some baldness. B’s has spent at least 88,000 USD on hair alone per her mom’s mouth. So what if she wears wigs? Beyonce is flawed like everybody; she gets split ends. Lastly, she didn’t pay her commission on this contract, but the judge took care of that issue.

Hey Art Chic… Black Creole is black, period. It never got a seperate catagory in the South. Just ask Strom Thurman.
Octoroons and quadroons don’t apply to Beyonce, so are we going back to the “brown bag” test now?
Who cares why L’oreal signed her to pitch products most black women don’t even use? To come up with their HIP line of cosmetics, they stole a page from Shu Uemura, a premium Japanese makeup line (for those of you who don’t know). She isn’t pushing Keratase. Why? Again, no black woman is the face of their upscale boutique bands. Most of the products sold at the drugs stores are garbage. What is her next pitch going to be, bleaching creme?

Beyonce did wear her natural texture for a while, but regardless of it being natural or not, it still takes time to style. Wearing wigs is easier for her since she is extremely busy. Beyonce said that she wears her real hair for her L’oreal ads.
