We ALMOST didn’t recognize Boy George in this photo from London. The bigger-than-ever former “Culture Club” singer checked out the spot where George Michael had his last auto accident with amusement as he walked to the subway. George has declared himself as “militantly gay” but you’d never guess it by looking at him here.

Janet…he’s NOT “bigger than ever” he’s actually a bit smaller than his largest ever in this pic, altho still very large. I agree he is getting very hard to recognise as he ages. He looks much like a human turtle here. It would be nice if Elton would take him under his wing and maybe help him get into shape and maybe get his career back. He DOES have one of the most stricking voices in pop ever, at least he did back in his “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?” days. I’d really like to see him whip himself into shape and make a huge comeback. I used to LOVE his voice! If he still has a voice it would be a shame to waste it by not singing.
The Boy can lose all the weight he wants, but it will not bring back his hair. George was a big member of a musical trend that put great emphasis on all the trappings of youth. They are done, and should retire, go away and stop grossing us all out.

I still love listening to Culture Club. Hopefully, he can get healthy (weight wise) since he is clean drug wise (suppose to be). Hope you has a hit or two in his future.
It would be great if he managed to lose the weight and gather a new band together. I loved his voice back when and think there just might still be room for him in the music world. Hey, if Madonna can still be out there, why not him? At least HE can sing! I wonder if he still has that voice?
You know, taking another look at the above picture, he really isn’t all THAT obese, I think he could lose it fairly quickly if he got a trainer and a food coach. It would be nice if he cared enough about himself to try, or had others in his life to encourage him to go for it. When he was doing plays with Rosie O’Donell obviously SHE supported him staying fat as she didn’t want to put the effort in either.
George has not self-restraint. He is the Orson Welles of pop music.
