We just had to get a closer look at the Sassafras Estate – that’s the Lloyd Neck, Long Island, mansion that Brad and Angelina are leasing. It looks old, but the 22,000 sq ft house was actually built in 1987, and has the ultimate in high tech luxury. The eight bedroom house sits on 48 acres and the staff quarters features 12 bedrooms (for all those security guards.) The house is compared to “living in your own resort.” There’s a helicopter pad, a barber shop, and an underground tunnel to the front yard. We’re thinking that the fallout shelter (with bath included) is what appealed to Brad – years ago, he had a shelter dug at his Santa Barbara home. This house was one of the ten most expensive houses in America when it was built.

Tired of hearing about Brad and Angelina. Don’t think they have been settle down. They have been move so many different places like France or New Orleans. These poor kids.
Janet, most Americans are losing their homes and jobs. How can you do such a story? This is shameful cruelty.
aren’t they supposed to be total slobs who leave a house trashed when they’re done with it? i think so. the kids aren’t required to pick up anything just toss it whereever and leave it.
When they are riding THAT high….mansions all over the world, untold $$$$, etc.. AND since they are Buddhists, the fall will be long and hard. The only way for these lying adulterers is down, for it appears they have reached the ultimate in La Dolce Vita (the good life). When the fall will begin, is up to the Lord.
Judge not, lest you be judged. Seems God is blessing the Jolie-Pitt mightly with children, wealth, security and good health. Only the best will do for Shiloh, Pax, Maddox, Zahara, Knox, Vivienne! Perhaps they will now marry and settle down with the right partner after all.

If my private life were as closely observed as theirs are, I would dwell in a fortress too. Yes, much of their exposure is self-imposed, but this new era of paparazzi mania, where everyone in a public place who has a camera on a cell phone is a potential pap, is insane. Leave them alone. They give plenty to charity.

I’ve never heard of them giving millions to charities only thousands are you kidding, rich people are the greediest and most wasteful on earth they only want us to give to their causes while they spend theirs on mansions like this because a normal sized house just wouldn’t do.
Brad and Angelina give millions to charity. Bill O’Reilly himself checked on them and said they are the real deal and are good people. If the studio is renting this place for them it is because Angelina is making a movie on Long Island beginning in March, just like the studio rented the same place as Tom Cruise did in Berlin, for security and privacy. There are sure some ignorant people on this blog.
They must have at least 100 people working for them. In two months they flew to: France,Germany, London, France, NewOrleans, NewYork, and L.A. Packing up the kids, the clothes, the gowns, upkeep of 7 or 8 mansions, begs the two questions: (1) When do they sleep. (2) They spend most of their $$ on themselves; I’m not sure they give millions to charity.

And not to mention Angelina going to 3rd world countries and sitting in the middle of poverty-stricken women with a big scarf on her head and pouting her lips out. Then, retiring at night to a nice hotel, while they sleep on dirt floors.
I can’t see how they can afford all this spending, traveling and day care. The studios must be picking up the tab for the homes for every place they make a movie. They don’t have bill gates, warren buffet or oprah winfery money.

And why shouldnt they spend MOST of their money on themselves, its after all their money, Why would someone become rich, to live like they only make 50 thousand or so a year.. Please, Grow up. Some of you people really need help.
Instead of spending untold thousand$ on the 3 adopted kids: Pax,Maddox,and Zahara, they could build two orphanages in Asia and Africa. That way their $ could help 1000s of orphans instead of 3 having everything money can buy. I know it is their $, but sometimes she just seems to want public approval and applause for adopting these three. As her father, Jon Voight said, she has mental problems. It would take a top-notch shrink to figure her out.
It’s a shame they don’t think of their kids. Kids new structure and routine. They needs friends to play with. These kids never stay in one place long enough to make friends. That will not make for well-adjusted adults.
They’ll end up as screwy as she is. They disgust me.

Who cares where they live or what they do. If you don’t like that they have so much money, quit going to their movies. Nothing speaks louder than a box office bomb.
