BRING ON THE PAPARAZZI

curr_paris.jpgHooray for Fraser Ross. “Whos that?” you might ask. He’s the clever owner of the gigantic retail success Kitson on Robertson. Has anyone paused to ponder why celebrity studded Kitson is so incredibly successful – above the other cute but forgettable shops on the street. Kitson RULES for a good reason. Because Fraser LOVES publicity and has always courted the press. Countless stars have been photographed shopping at or leaving Kitson and they appear weekly in the celebrity mags. Fraser realized what a boon these pix were to his business and went into the photo business himself. He partnered up with a photo agency so now when he gets a famous shopper, Fraser can call his own fotog to take the picture. When it’s published Fraser not only enjoys the free publicity – he gets a cut of the money paid for the photo! It’s funny, the stores that chase photographers away and “protect” their celebrity shoppers don’t do nearly as well as Kitson. Steady Kitson customer Paris Hilton certainly isn’t complaining about paparazzi. So really, isn’t Fraser Ross even smarter than we thought?

Janet, just found your site. I’ve enjoyed reading you for years.
This looks like the new Hollywood. Kitson teamed up with photographers and stars organizing their own photo ops. Apparently, PR coverage is a whole new game now! Lucrative, too.

This singer has been losing weight for an important TV role but she’s doing it the dangerous way- with cocaine – and now she’s addicted. Friends can’t help but notice. During a two hour dinner at La Loggia in Studio City, she went to the bathroom nine times and barely ate a thing. A few weeks later she and her husband ate at Nobu, but she barely touched her food and drank instead. After six trips to the bathroom she practically had to be carried out the door by her husband. She’s convinced she’ll gain weight if she stops using, and her family is frantic.

    It happened in 2000:
Believe it or not, there’s a drawback to being Brad Pitt’s wife. Before they wed, Jennifer Aniston had her own separate medicine cabinet full of expensive moisturizers, line preventers, masks, and everything necessary to keep skin perky. Now that they’re married, Brad’s discovered Jennifer’s beauty stash and he helps himself. Jennifer’s happy that he’s concerned about his skin but hates to find her stuff missing. So she spent $2000 on various skin products for Brad’s bathroom.

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
