We wonder how Brittany Murphy’s family feels about the results of her autopsy. They had insisted she was very ill when she died and drugs were not a factor. It turns out she WAS seriously ill with pneumonia and anemia and that PLUS prescription drugs were the lethal combination. The fact that she had not seen a doctor and was obviously self- medicating indicates that she was not taking care of herself and no one was insisting that she do so. If she were living alone this might be more understandable, but people who loved her were in the same house. It’s strange. And terribly sad.

She probably went into shock under the heat from the shower. Combined with anemia and lung infection, she didn’t have a chance.
Iron supplementation and antibiotics would have done the trick for her situation. Sad for her family. Her will situation is a messsss.

He is a shady looking fat toad. He should be investigated thoroghly to see if anything underhanded went on. If he was truly in love with her, he could have gotten her to the hospital and maybe drug rehab. Something is fishy here.

I agree there is something mighty strange about that husband of hers. he is beyond creepy and I can’t for a second imagine them making love.
As for her condition which killed her, I can’t believe even her own mother didn’t drive her to a doctor when she was that sick for days. She LOOKED sickly as hell and I can’t imagine how much worse she must have looked at the last day or two, and them STILL not taken her in for help!! It’s beyond unbelievable!
I dunno….is anyone REALLY surprised? Actors self-medicate ALL THE TIME. Charlie Sheens father had to step in and drag him to the hospital to save his life, cause he wasn’t gonna do it himself. This poor girl’s mother and husband were in denial and just out for a buck. And now they’ll probably fight over the few bucks remaining. Its all very sad, but its nothing new in Hollywood.

Her fat-ass hubby looks like he is strung out and in la-la land right now. It’s possible he could have given her drugs…they need to investigate him.
Perhaps they did try to get her into rehab, or to see a doctor, but she freaked and said no. The family didn’t want their source of income to dry up, so they let her do what she wanted. Keep her happy and the money keeps flowing. Just a guess. I don’t know why else the family wouldn’t get her to an ER or other facility.
Her slovenly husband is enough to make anyone keel over from gross out.

Brittany loved something about that creepy toad, I guess. I feel sorry for her being an actress and being so paranoid about being thin enough. She must have gone through hell. RIP, Tai.

I think he talked her into going off her meds to “start a family” and then refused to take her to the hospital. (Complicated by the pneumonia; I have had pneumonia, and you do not want to mess with it).
He and the mom are *not* acting like grieving relatives; I think they are diving into her money. Feh.
He’s no criminal. They were both drug addicts living a sick lifestyle and enabled one another. They loved each other, and loved drugs as they would their children. She died. Move on.
