Michael Douglas will not be gratified to hear that his son Cameron, 34, was beaten up while serving his ten year stretch in prison for dealing crystal meth and smuggling drugs into jail. According to the NY Post, word got out that he testified against his drug suppliers and they taught him a jailhouse lesson. Cameron ended up with a broken leg. Also alarming is the fact that in order to fit in better with his cellmates. Cameron has been getting gangster style jailhouse tattoos. He’s been working as a weekend orderly in a housing unit, earning $1.65 a month.

  1. That’s why you don’t do crap to get your ass thrown in jail. I’m sure the prison tattoos will enhance his already mediocre looks-NOT!

  2. Prison work must pay more than $1.65/month. You must mean per hour. Don’t prison inmates have opportunities to educate themselves, get counseling, etc.? Can’t Michael get the kid into a better prison? Makes no sense.

  3. The jerk grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. Maybe Michael was an absentee father is why Cameron kept getting into trouble. Usually tho, high-powered stars will spare no money to get their offspring out somehow. I don’t think Cameron has much of a chance anymore.

  4. I think the original sentence of less than 5 years angered a lot of people because he was caught with drugs in his possession and distributing, however, Cameron was then caught having someone smuggle drugs to him inside prison and was caught the judge added another 5 years to his 4-5 year sentence and then it was leaked he snitched on his drug contact and was beaten up. I think at this point Michael Douglas can’t do much more to help his son. Some people don’t want help, they are on a downward spiral and sabotage on good things that come to them. Life is short, money doesn’t always buy happiness we have all read that from many famous people but it does give you the opportunity to do good in this life. I don’t think Cameron ever develop the tools to lead a productive life. You can’t always blame the parents, their are many stories of people that had one or no parents and were able to live productive lives. Good luck to Cameron, Michael, Diandra, Catherine, Kirk Douglas, etc. Surely this must be painful for them.

  5. Cameron is 34 years old will probably out of prison when he is in his early 40’s. Which means Michael will set up a trust fund for him to live off for the rest of his life but IF Cameron did not develop life skills in prison he will need someone to manage his finances. Who knows how he will be after serving 10 years in prison. I read that Farrah Fawcett left a clause in her will regarding his son Redmond, he would not get a lump sum of her money but X amount to live every month and not for drugs so there is an executor monitoring Redmond. Farrah was smart and realistic to know her son Redmond might struggle with drug addict and didn’t want her wealth to feed his habit. Hope Michael Douglas does the same with Cameron because who knows if he can depend on his mother Diandra for guidance. Michael Douglas is about 65 and will be 75 when Cameron gets out. Hopefully Michael will enjoy the wealth of years and health like his father Kirk Douglas who is nearing or is already 90 years old.

  6. Waa, waa! Unless he is paying for protection those tats are not going to help him to fight off gang beat downs from being a snitch and Bubba from his sweet love making. Didn’t he see Shaw Shank Redemption?

  7. Our county jail pays a dollar a day for the trustees who work. Anyway, little Cameron had many chances before he went to prison. The tattoos sound horrible. Hopefully they’re not on his face or neck.
