CAN YOU IMAGINE JOHNNY DEPP STARRING AS PEE-WEE HERMAN?

Paul Reubens says he revived “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” at the Nokia theater in LA because he wants to drum up enough interest to make another Pee-wee movie. The show was an immediate hit – his fans really MISSED Pee-wee! The success of the stage production hopefully will lead to a studio investing money so Paul can direct an elaborate “Wizard of Oz” type epic adventure. He wants a big budget Pee-wee this time around. Believe it or not, Paul says he is even considering having ANOTHER actor star as Pee-wee, and he already approached Johnny Depp. Johnny’s thinking it over. We can’t imagine anyone doing it BUT Paul, but Johnny is a provocative second choice.

Janet, don’t fall for the press lies this pig has bought to try to fire up his dormant career. Depp already played a kid bothering pervert in one movie, he won’t do it in another.

Johnny’s way too old..I would go for some type of animated version of Pee Wee, he could go crazy with something like that and do whatever he wants

Johnny Depp sucks. He’s never been in anything good, “Edward Scissorhands” has not aged well. I do like Burton’s “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” however. But only with Paul Reubens.

    I don’t like Weenie #1, PeeWee

    I don’t like Weenie #2, Johnny

Both are pigs, just in different ways.

A couple of years ago I heard Johnny Depp was set to play Freddy Mercury. More recently I heard Johnny was set to play Frank Sinatra? I’d love him as either character but I think the timing for a Freddy Mercury movie would be now !

Jim Parsons indeed would be a better choice, but how big of a box office draw would Jim be over Johnny? It’s always about money folks. Personally, I say Paul should do it. If it aint broke don’t fix it!

Through the years these two have been stuck to one another like white on rice and her fame rubbed off on her pal. They’ve been roomies, have worked together on set, and even launched a business venture together. But all that success has come with a price. After years of being sober, the less famous friend has fallen HARD off the wagon and our gal doesn’t know what to do. She’s hosted an intervention, hired an addiction specialist, and even threatened to end the friendship, but nothing seems to work. What’s a girl to do?
