When their marital troubles began, Candy Spelling hoped that her daughter Tori and her husband Dean would patch things up for the sake of their four children. But since the sordid cheating – sex rehab details started playing out on their reality series True Tori, Candy is rethinking the matter. Candy and Tori do not have a smooth mother-daughter relationship. Wealthy widow Candy didn’t hand her kids a bundle of money – she gave them “enough to do something – not enough to do nothing.” She wanted them to be productive on their own. And Tori HAS worked hard – writing books and doing TV. It might be a GOOD thing that Tori doesn’t have much money because if she and Dean divorce he could use the kids to take her to the cleaners. Supposedly Candy is even considering paying off Dean to leave quietly if it becomes necessary. She wants what’s best for her grandchildren.

Wasn’t the Peaner married when he hooked up with Tori? I’m not saying that makes his serial cheating ok but maybe he needs to live at a sex farm where he can just sex his life away and stop being a bad dad and husband.
He’s slime but Tori has made a cottage industry selling every personal detail about their lives. Maybe she should shut her piehole and spend time with the kids and less time on tv.

Seems the only person who makes sense is Candy. Good for her to see through that gold digging pirate. The ones who always truly suffer are the kids.
Just the idea of Tori’s marriage being a tabloid joke every week has got to be one of the hardest things to deal with in Candy’s life. For years Aaron and Candy shared a life as one of tinseltown’s favorite couples. For Tori to be putting the embarrassment of her marriage on Lifetime (display) shows a desperate Need to be on television. Who in their right mind would even consider letting the general public witness the heartache that Tori is filming for all to see. I have to admit that only see clips online, and that is in small doses.
Tori Needs to stop whining and catering to Dean and grow up with the knowledge that her 4 young children Need her. If Dean wants to act like a complete fool, and be an irresponsible spouse,that should give Tori more of a reason to wake up and pull herself together, and show her children what she is made of as an adult and mother. Tori appears to be a co-dependent of Dean’s bad behavior, and is locked in to remaining in his Negative clutches. Just saying!!
