CAPTAIN SULLY IS NOW A MOVIE

Of course. The story of Captain Sullenberger – the nonchalant pilot who miraculously and safely landed a disabled jet on the Hudson River in 2009 and saved all the passengers – is being filmed by Clint Eastwood. (There’s nothing Clint likes better than a hero – or heroine.) And who better to play the modest hero than Tom Hanks! Tom is currently negotiating for the role and we can’t imagine better casting.

  1. Proving that Hollywood continues to produce garbage nobody wants to see.

  2. Captain Sullenberger produced no hype when this happened, and no hype will accompany the film. Yes, a hero. No, a sleeper film.

    And, NO, I’M NOT STROM.

Strom couldn’t produce a viable sentence to save his life. With a gun to his temple, no viable sentence.

    Bye bye strom.

  3. Clint Eastwood is now an old right wing Republican parrot. He will turn this story into a jingoistic mess.

  4. Although the water landing was incredible & great piloting skill, I don’t see how it can be made into a movie.

  5. Clint Eastwood directs fabulous movies and Tom Hanks would be perfect for this role. Hope it happens. It will make a lot of money.

  6. Make a movie about Robert Crandall, “Mr. AMR”.. As I wonder who could play him? And yet what is he known for saving and who’s he fighting now?
