Rachel McAdams and 50 Cent are having a laugh on the set of “Morning Glory” in New York. They’re filming a scene where Rachel, who plays a TV news anchor, gets very excited over the fact that she ran into 50 Cent outside his hotel and she managed to give him her business card. 50 Cent is turning into quite an actor.

Sylvester Stallone is all pumped up and ready to start filming “The Expendables” which he wrote, will star in, and direct. It’s about an international team of mercenaries whose secret mission is to assassinate an evil South American dictator. And what a cast: besides Stallone, there’s Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, and possibly Arnold Schwarzenegger and 50 Cent. It sounds like those “Dirty Dozen”/”Magnificent Seven” movies from the 60’s.

UNIBOMBER HOOD: WHO WORE IT BEST?

What are the chances of catching 50 Cent and Jennifer Aniston wearing the same outfit? Slim, at best. But here they are in all their glory. Fitty was observed wearing his hood as he jumped into his bullet proof SUV. Jennifer wore hers to the location of her movie “The Baster” in New York. We love Jen’s outsize hood, but she could probably use a seeing eye dog to go with it. Keep in mind, hoods like these are banned at all Obama public gatherings.

50 Cent’s 2.5 million dollar Long Island mansion that just burned down was occupied by Shaniqua Tompkins, his exgirlfriend and the mother of his ten year old son. Mother, son and four other people barely got out alive. Shaniqua and Fitty were last seen together arguing violently in the street. He was trying to get her to move. Firemen suspect foul play and are investigating. 50 Cent has an alibi – he was filming in Louisiana. SOMEBODY will probably be going to jail. Who do YOU think is responsible for the conflagration?

ROBIN THICKE ROCKS AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES

Robin Thicke drew a celebrity heavy crowd at the House of Blues last night. Halle Berry came with her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and her mother. Britney Spears was expected to show up but she didn’t for a change. Wilmer Valderrama was digging the music. Bobby Brown was reportedly by himself and “out of his mind” (too many drinks?) and “dancing around and acting stupid.” The audience really got their money’s worth - 50 Cent surprised everyone when he jumped onstage and performed with Thicke.

BETTER GAY THAN TRUCULENT

Neighbors are astounded by the fact that Kanye West has 24 hour around-the-clock bodyguards watching his house in the Hollywood Hills. He’s not exactly the gangsta type that needs protection. “It must cost a fortune – what’s he afraid of?” said a curious neighbor. That got us wondering if his feud with 50 Cent has escalated. Hardcore 50 Cent has barely concealed his contempt for Kanye’s “softer” music. He dissed Kanye when he said “I think middle America would rather have their kids be GAY than have them be aggressive.” (Did he say that because Kanye shops at Barneys?) Despite the big bucks he spends on security, Kanye still eats at economical Baja Fresh on Sunset nearly every day!
