MEGHAN MARKLE IS YEARNING FOR LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!

To no one’s surprise, Meghan Markle has been missing her life in front of the camera. She enjoyed her days as a Deal or No Deal briefcase holder, and her 7 seasons on the USA Network drama Suits. Her recent Netflix documentary with Prince Harry only reinforced her desire to return to show business. A friend says that Meghan was prepared to retire from Hollywood and become a Princess in London, but those plans went awry, and she has started feeling unfulfilled as a Montecito housewife. While she adores motherhood, go-getter Meghan wants more. She’s been talking to her friend, mega-producer Tyler Perry and he’s offered her a role in an upcoming project. All signs are pointing to Meghan making some kind of return to showiz.

THINGS ARE FALLING INTO PLACE FOR PARIS JACKSON

Paris Jackson took a day off from her new and glamorous life to walk around Venice, California looking like just another hippie. She returned from Fashion Week in Paris to film a guest role on Lee Daniels’ series STAR. Paris is not altogether happy with an interview she did with Candace Bushnell for Harper’s Bazaar. The magazine comes out this week and apparently they mentioned her father’s name in the headline after promising not to. Hey, that’s showbiz! Now that Paris is signed with IGM for modeling, WME for acting, and got herself a good looking manager – anything can happen!

CAVE MAN RUSSELL CROWE THINKS HE KNOWS WHAT’S WRONG WITH ACTRESSES

AG058030_01cut

Not long ago, Russell Crowe, 50, made some comments about actresses over 40 who complain there aren’t enough roles for them. He said that the unhappy actresses wanted to continue playing ingénue roles as if they were still 21 and couldn’t understand why they weren’t cast. He praised Meryl Streep for playing her “age.” This infuriating chauvinism probably broke up his own marriage! Crowe doesn’t acknowledge that MALE stars habitually play younger and their love interests are DECADES younger. Actresses are often doomed to playing “girlfriends” when they’re young, and “moms” when they age, because few movies are ABOUT women. The problem is there are not enough females writing scripts about women and not enough female studio heads okaying them. White men still rule in Hollywood. Meanwhile lookswise, Crowe does NOT seem to be holding up as well as Sharon Stone
