ADAM LEVINE TOOK A CHANCE AND IT PAID OFF BIGTIME

Actually all bearded men in hoodies look alike, so Adam Levine doesn’t need the glasses to disguise himself. He looks very gruff and his 8 month old baby daughter Gio looks very sociable. Five years ago, when Adam signed to appear on The Voice, other musicians thought he was “selling out” and jeopardizing his music career with Maroon 5. But realistic Adam liked the idea of paying his bills AND being a musician so he took a chance. Now that he’s pulling in 35 million per year for TV, concerts, etc, doing reality TV doesn’t seem like such a bad idea…

ADAM LEVINE REALLY WANTS TO BE A MOVIE STAR LIKE JARED LETO

We didn’t realize that Adam Levine actually appeared in the movie “Begin Again” for FREE. He wanted the experience and made producers an offer they couldn’t refuse. The movie is charming and hard to resist – Adam plays a self-absorbed rock star boyfriend of Keira Knightley, so he obviously knows his limits. He’s actually not bad in the movie – the Hasidic looking beard didn’t flatter him, however. We’re thinking with a few acting lessons he’ll get some paying offers. SEXIEST MAN ALIVE: ADAM LEVINE OR CHRIS HEMSWORTH?

People magazine’s choice of Adam Levine as “Sexiest Man Alive” has caused another uproar with fans loudly denouncing their selection. Back in 2011, Ryan Gosling fans raised a stink when Bradley Cooper won the title and they demonstrated outside People offices. In 2012, Channing Tatum filled the bill nicely, with no complaints. This year Adam Levine brought the protesters back and they were highly critical. (That cover photo did him no favors.) We have to agree, Adam is cool but not quite up to the title. Our choice would be voluptuous Rush star Chris Hemsworth. If more People voters had seen that movie, he’d have easily landed the title.

Eligible bachelor Adam Levine means business when he proposes. He suddenly announced his engagement to South African born model Behati Prinsloo,24, earlier this month. They had split up in March and he was dating another model when he abruptly changed his mind and decided he couldn’t live without Behati, and proposed. Already The Voice coach and his fiancée are apartment hunting in Soho.

At first we were quite skeptical about Adam Levine introducing a fragrance. Sure, he found success with Maroon 5 and The Voice, but can a MAN who’s not a famous designer sell a fragrance? Especially a man who was loudly and totally against ALL celebrity fragrances until HIS opportunity presented itself? We’re starting to think Adam’s scents for both men and women might do OK. He calls them the “anti- cologne” – they are subtle, and intended to be noticed only when one is ”in close proximity to the wearer.” Plus. Adam is a cool looking guy and well liked by both men and women. We shall see…

We’ve told you that Jake Gyllenhaal is NOT gay, and his buddy, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, agrees with us. He told Out magazine: “Will everyone stop thinking that dude is gay? Seriously guys. How immature is it of the media to perceive this guy — it has to be because of Brokeback, right? I’ve known this dude forever. He’s one of my oldest friends, and it’s very weird that they have this — it’s very immature and infantile the way they treat his whole situation. If him hanging out with his bros means he’s gay, it’s like further perpetuating that weird homophobia that exists in our culture, which is just stupid. So, yeah, he’s my buddy.
