Funny how the FIRST thing Amanda Bynes demanded after she was locked up on psychiatric hold was Adderall! Just like Lindsay Lohan! Britney Spears and Brooke Mueller have also been habitual users of the drug. Every skinny girl in Hollywood seems to want us to think they have ADD and they all find docs to write prescriptions. Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton have also been known to carry the weight loss drug in their purses. According to RadarOnline, long term use can increase paranoia and Amanda seems to be hooked. She probably smoked all that weed to calm herself down from the speed in Adderall. This prescription drug has probably contributed to a lot of crazy female behavior in Hollywood – and elsewhere…

HAS LINDSAY LOHAN MADE AN INTELLIGENT DECISION FOR A CHANGE?

According to Radaronline, Lindsay Lohan is snubbing Brooke Mueller at Betty Ford. Charlie Sheen’s exwife Brooke chose Betty Ford for her twentieth rehab visit because she looked forward to meeting Lindsay. But a source told Radar that Lindsay wants nothing to do with her. When they both appear for nightly meetings, Brooke attempts to chat with Lindsay but Lohan brushes her off. They are both being treated for Adderall addiction (and who knows what else) but Lindsay, in spite of her friendship with Charlie Sheen, has dismissed Brooke as a common drug addict and keeps her distance. Maybe Lohan has finally made an intelligent decision.

WHETHER JAIL AND REHAB REALLY CHANGED LINDSAY LOHAN REMAINS TO BE SEEN

Lindsay Lohan looks great on the cover of Vanity Fair – the photo and interview were done a week before she was jailed and rehabbed. It’s worthy of note that in her interview, Lindsay insisted she has “never abused prescription drugs” and did not have a drinking problem. (Sure, we believe a “misdiagnosis” caused her to pop all those Adderall.) Oh, and she blamed her bad decisions and bad behavior on the fact that she had poor role models, like Britney – and her parents. It will be interesting to see if, in her first interview AFTER jail and rehab, (for which she will be paid a fortune) anything changes. Denial and blaming others are not good signs for recovery. Will she man up and takes responsibility for her own behavior?

Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol bracelet and tests for illegal drugs aren’t going to do a bit of good as long as she is allowed to take the drugs PRESCRIBED to her. What’s wrong with these judges? Don’t they know that Adderall and Ambien are among the most abused prescription drugs in Hollywood? (Tila Tequila admits to SNORTING Ambien!) Because Lindsay managed to score prescriptions for both, she can take all she wants and she’s considered drug-free. Her problems are never going to be solved this way. In Hollywood this drug is not used for ADHD, it’s a form of Dexedrene and it keeps one awake while killing the appetite. (College students love it.) Pills are indiscriminately popped like aspirin day and night. Recently we’ve learned that they are very addictive and can cause all kinds of craziness. Just maybe, this explains why so many Hollywood women are having behavior problems

We are quite surprised to hear that Paris Hilton’s jailers haven’t figure out that she is NOT taking the drug Adderall because she actually has ADD (attention deficit disorder.) Are they the only people who don’t know that every thin actress in this town gulps Adderall by the handful because it has a great side effect – it makes them lose weight! It’s the hottest new DIET PILL on the market! Hello! Every $10,000 handbag you see on the arm of a skinny celebrity contains Adderall and cigarettes. Think about it. Paris’s costar and best friend Nicole Ritchie also pretends to have ADD and takes the drug. It’s not illegal if you convince your doctor you have ADD – and that’s not hard to do. Amazing how the police are the last to know.
