Steven Tyler is getting along better with his Aerosmith bandmembers since he split with his girlfriend Erin Brady. His bandmates, (including Joe Perry, above) accused Erin of being a troublemaker and getting Steven back into drugs, while HER friends insist she kept him OFF drugs. Either way, for some reason Steven’s bandmates never warmed up to Erin and they’re happier when she’s not around. Of course, now Steven is on the prowl and no one is safe.

STEVEN TYLER IS CHALLENGING THE FIRST AMENDMENT

Steven Tyler REALLY didn’t like photos taken of him on the beach in Hawaii. He went so far as to ask a senator there to sponsor legislation making it a civil violation if people take unwanted photos or videos of others without permission. The Aerosmith singer owns a million dollar home in Maui and hates seeing unflattering pics of himself splashed all over magazines. Senate members approved the “Steven Tyler bill” to protect celebrities, and now it goes to the House for voting, where clearer heads are expected to prevail.

The possibility of a split between Steven Tyler and his fiancée Erin Brady has Aerosmith band mates and certain members of Steven’s family thrilled beyond words. Steven, 64, and Erin, 38, have been together since 2006, and the other musicians in Aerosmith feel she’s a negative influence on Steven (she got him back into drugs awhile back) and she has taken control of his life. The fact that Steven is gearing up for the band’s Global Warming tour indicates that Erin is somehow not included because the band doesn’t like having her around. Steven denies that they are actually “broken up” and he still may have feelings for her OR he might be trying to let her down easy.

Steven Tyler’s band Aerosmith has been in turmoil since he announced he planned to be a judge on American Idol. The rest of the band knows that the Idol gig would mean Steven won’t be available to perform as often. That means they ALL earn less money. Last year the band was ready to dump Steven and get another lead singer because he only seemed interested in his solo career and didn’t care about the band. Plus they suspected he was abusing substances and behaving erratically. The guys patched things up THEN, but American Idol could be disaster for the group, which has been together for 40 years!

We’ve been told to expect a big announcement of some kind from the Aerosmith camp tomorrow. Let’s see – it can’t be that Steven Tyler is leaving the band because he already denied that. What could it be? Someone pointed out that Steven’s girlfriend Erin Brady is NOT well liked by the Tyler family or band members. And it’s not simply because she wears a fur coat, it’s because the band blames her for Steven’s probable fall off the wagon. He’s rumored to be down to 112 pounds.

IS STEVEN TYLER LIVIN’ ON THE EDGE AGAIN?

Aerosmith is in a shambles, what with Joe Perry telling the Las Vegas Sun that Steven Tyler quit the band, and Steven Tyler denying it. What IS going on with these guys? According to Roger Friedman at the Hollywood Reporter, the band can’t agree on who should manage them. But the real complication seems to be Steven’s intrusive girlfriend, Erin Brady (who has been compared to Courtney Love.) She thinks Steven, at 61, could be the hottest solo artist of all time. Friedman also suggests that Steven, who was on the wagon for years, has been partying a bit too heavily with 35 year old billionaire Justin Murdock. Maybe drugs are on the menu again. Can this band be saved?
