MEL GIBSON AND HIS 27 YEAR OLD BABY MAMA

For a guy who’s not exactly popular OR delicious to look at, Mel Gibson, 62, is lucky to always have a pretty – and YOUNG – woman by his side. He’s spent the last four years with champion equestrian vaulter (described as “gymnastics on horseback”) Rosalind Ross, and they have a two year old son Lars, together (Catholic Mel’s ninth child and her first.) When questioned about their 35 year age difference, Mel shrugged “She is an adult and we dig each other.”

Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber, 51, took his sons, his girlfriend Taylor Neisen, 26, and his dog, to the park for some basketball and skateboarding. Last night on SNL, Pete Davidson acknowledged the 20 year age difference between him and girlfriend Kate Beckinsale, and he called out a long list of celebrities in the same situation, but he forgot to name Liev Schreiber!

THE IRISHMAN: SPECIAL EFFECTS WILL MAKE ROBERT DE NIRO LOOK 30 YEARS OLD

Robert De Niro is on a set in Queens beating up a shopkeeper for his new film The Irishman. It’s about a REALLY nasty gangster named Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran and flashbacks of his 25 mob murders – including Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa. Scorsese is directing all his favorites – DeNiro, Al Pacino (he plays Hoffa,) Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel etc in this gangster epic said to rival Goodfellas. The film’s huge budget stalled production until Netflix took over. Interestingly, DeNiro, 74, has to start out the movie as a 30 year old, so the same special effects team that made Brad Pitt age backwards for Benjamin Button will make DeNiro look young. It’s worth seeing just for THAT…

Suddenly it’s dawned on us why Barbra Streisand was so adamant about looking young in the billboards and ads for her new movie “The Guilt Trip.” It’s because she wants to star as Mama Rose, the fiftyish character in “Gypsy” – the movie remake she’s been struggling to put together. Barbra, 70, plans to direct the movie and hopes to convince producers and investors that she’s not too old to play the Mama Rose character made famous by Ethel Merman and Rosalind Russell. Barbra would LOVE to cast Lady Gaga to play her character’s mousey daughter who grows up to be the flamboyant stripper Gypsy Rose Lee. That WOULD be brilliant casting, but it’s the first Gaga has heard of it. We wonder what SHE thinks about playing second fiddle to Barbra…

What happened? The last time we saw Mark Ruffalo he was the sexy leading man who nearly turned Julianne Moore’s lesbian character straight in “The Kids Are All Right.” (We skipped “The Avengers.”) When we saw this photo from the set of his currently filming “Can a Song Save Your Life?” we were surprised to see he went from sexy guy to “old guy” rather quickly, and he’s only 44! In the movie he plays a disillusioned record executive, so we’re assuming this look is temporary.

Without makeup, Hilaria Thomas could pass for a teenager. It’s always nice when two people FIND each other and age SHOULDN’T matter, but how will their friends mix? The age difference is a novelty at first, but having several generations between them means they both have to constantly explain things to each other that people the same age already know. We’re guessing Hilaria wanted security and she got it.
