My source says that Lindsay privately reached out to Amanda and offered her help getting sober and getting her career back on track. WILL REALITY TV TAKE A CHANCE ON AMANDA BYNES?

We’re not sure if this is still a good idea, but before she entered that psychiatric hospital, Amanda Bynes was in talks with production companies to star in her own reality show. The series would revolve around Amanda trying to rebrand her life, going from child star to a nail salon owner. An insider revealed that Amanda was close to getting a pilot green-lit until she was found wandering the streets of downtown Los Angeles naked, in the middle of a psychotic episode. Amanda was said to be excited about the prospect, but now it’s up in the air. The insider says it could go either way – Amanda’s troubles might be considered way too much to handle, OR her struggles could provide some amazing reality TV.

Being Amanda Bynes’ mother and conservator must be one of the toughest jobs in the world. The former child star’s mother Lynn has been wrestling with Amanda’s mental problems for years. Amanda Bynes IS looking pretty great and healthy these days. Can you believe she’s 30 already? Her treatment for bipolar/manic depression is ongoing and evidently successful. The former child star is taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and aims for a career in fashion and eventually, her own line. She still has her obsession with hair extensions and we can live with that, but her long pointy nails – not so much.

She’s still cute but less flashy, her hair is a few shades darker and her makeup is more natural, according to an observer. The troubled actress has been seen in LA looking calm and together. Her parents have moved to Texas and Amanda is living with a friend who’s also counseling her. She says she’s not particularly interested in acting any more, but eager to get into the clothing business. She’s been sketching and making patterns and taking meetings – and hopes someday to have her own fashion collection.

HOLLYWOOD IS NO LONGER AN AMANDA-FREE ZONE

Amanda Bynes was spotted on 3rd street today and we feel awful for her parents. According to TMZ they have give up on her conservatorship and plan to move to Texas. Amanda is holding a huge grudge against her parents because of the conservatorship, and they hope to rebuild a relationship. Her conservatorship has been turned over to a mental health expert. It seems so hopeless – Amanda denies that she needs help and seems more delusional every day. With luck, she’ll be stopped from frittering away all her savings, but it doesn’t look good.

Lufti became her self appointed “manager” and he took charge of her cell phone and medications. Hospitalizations for Brit followed, and eventually Britney’s parents banned him from Britney’s life and accused him of taking advantage of her. Britney Spears and Brooke Mueller have also been habitual users of the drug. Every skinny girl in Hollywood seems to want us to think they have ADD and they all find docs to write prescriptions. Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton have also been known to carry the weight loss drug in their purses. According to RadarOnline, long term use can increase paranoia and Amanda seems to be hooked. She probably smoked all that weed to calm herself down from the speed in Adderall. This prescription drug has probably contributed to a lot of crazy female behavior in Hollywood – and elsewhere…
