What does David Hasselhoff have in common with Tyra Banks? When they got canned, they both claimed it was THEIR IDEA to leave. Although Tyra’s talk show was CANCELLED, she insisted she quit. And David Hasselhoff’s contract was not renewed on “America’s Got Talent” because of his drunken behavior. Insiders say David was shocked because the show was his main source of income, and he cooked up the alibi of “developing his own show” to cover up the truth. It’s too bad, but this probably won’t push David into giving up drinking either.

It’s ironic how David Hasselhoff’s kids try so hard to get him to ADMIT he’s an alcoholic, but he just continues to deny everything. He was hospitalized yet AGAIN Sunday when his 17 year old long suffering daughter Hayley blew the whistle on him. Apparently the “America’s Got >Talent” judge was out of control after guzzling vodka and Hayley called her mom who alerted 911. Her poor-excuse-for-a-father was rushed to the hospital, dried out, and released the next day, as usual. This time he came up with an excuse that he mixed ear infection medication with anabuse and got dizzy. Sure.

American’s Got Talent is currently crisscrossing the country holding auditions for their summer series and talent judge David Hasselhoff couldn’t be happier about it. The show has started having audiences attend the taped try-outs and David checks out the crowd for attractive women. When he spots one he likes, The Hoff sends his assistant to deliver an autographed photo to the girl -complete with David’s phone number and hotel details. We wonder how many of these “talent show groupies” take him up on his implicit offer?
