Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are pictured here visiting Johnny Depp at his house in Venice, Italy. Angelina and Johnny are currently filming “The Tourist” there. Presumably this friendly visit will squash those crazy rumors that Johnny’s girlfriend Vanessa Paradis ordered him to quit the movie because she’s afraid Angelina will seduce him. One of Brad’s first acting jobs was on Johnny’s TV series “21 Jump Street” and at the time he idolized Johnny. Brad was so influenced by Johnny that he started dressing like him, wearing plaid shirts and a black leather jacket.

BRAD AND ANGELINA ARE GETTING EVEN, NOT SPLITTING UP!

Now that Brad and Angelina are suing the UK’s News of the World for falsely claiming they were seeing lawyers to negotiate a split, we think everyone should take a harsh look at all the magazines who jumped on the fake story and further exaggerated it. Some mags had Brad begging Jennifer to take him back, some had Jennifer turning Brad down, and others claimed Jen and Brad have been together secretly for awhile! Brad and Jen have NOT been in touch since their divorce. Period. Jen is currently in Mexico with friends including Gerard Butler. It’s time to call publications (and bloggers) to task for lazily or deliberately publishing false stories. Keep in mind, the REAL story is always harder to get. Oh, and don’t expect Madonna an Jesus Luz to split up anytime soon, either.

BRAD DIDN’T BUY A BACHELOR PAD, HE ENLARGED HIS FAMILY COMPOUND

ANOTHER reason to doubt those Brad and Angelina splitting up stories. The UK’s Daily Mail has been trumpeting that Brad quietly bought a “bachelor pad” in LA where he can live in peace without Angelina and the kids. (As if they don’t already have ENOUGH houses!) The fact is, Brad bought another of the houses surrounding his compound in the Hollywood Hills that he has owned for years. He’s been buying up the neighbors’ homes one by one when they go up for sale and now has several private acres. The most recent addition is a run-down 1920’s bungalow in need of a lot of work. HARDLY a bachelor pad. We checked this information with our brilliant colleague at The Real Estalker and found him in total agreement.

It’s highly profitable to claim Brad and Angelina are splitting up because millions of magazines and newspapers have been sold on this premise. And the gullible buyers of the papers never seem to figure out that they are being fed the same dubious story over and over. Publishers agree that Brad and Angelina boost circulation and never sue – so why not go all the way! Keep in mind this same sensational split story has been used successfully for YEARS, without any evidence. Therefore we advise readers to be skeptical and don’t hold your breath waiting for THE BIG SPLIT. It hasn’t happened yet, but when and if it does, we predict it will be Angelina’s idea.

Everything is perfect about this photo except, of course, Brad Pitt‘s chin. How long must we endure these gray billy goat whiskers? They don’t even match his hair. He has a normal haircut and a crazy looking beard. What role could require Brad to raise this awful facial hair? It’s rumored that he’s filming Homer’s Odyssey – was this the style in Greece in the 8th century BC? Brad took Angelina out to dinner in New York without the kids.

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS BRANGELINA BOOK

Here’s something to cross OFF your Christmas list: That new book “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” by Ian Halperin, who also considers himself an expert on Michael Jackson. Apparently Halperin read every magazine cover story about Brad and Angelina “breaking up” and turned it into a book. None of the material seems to be original and very little seems to be accurate. Halperin doesn’t know the real story behind Brad and Jennifer Aniston’s split, so it’s improbable that he got much else right. Halperin insists that Angelina is tired of Brad’s pot smoking and Brad is turned off by Angelina’s temper, and the relationship is about to implode. We predict Brad and Angelina will prove him wrong.

BRAD AND ANGELINA SCARE THE NEIGHBORS

Brad and Angelina didn’t miss Halloween with their kids. The four oldest children dressed up and went trick or treating with their parents in their LA neighborhood – and they didn’t need a lot of bodyguards. Brad dressed up as the kids’ favorite TV character – DJ Lance Rock from Nick Jr’s Yo Gabba Gabba show. Angelina splattered some blood on herself and dusted white powder in her hair, Zahara was Batman, Shiloh and Maddox were in camouflage army clothes, but we don’t know about Pax. The beads in Brad’s beard are slightly unsettling.

Maddox gets around. Maybe it pays to be the oldest of the Jolie-Pitt brood because he seems to get around more than the others. He was just in New York the other day playing video games with his dad Brad Pitt. Now he’s in the South of France with Angelina >Jolie and she took him shopping at the local supermarket. Both parents are spending a lot of one-on-one time with him.

For those of you who were gullible enough to BELIEVE those magazine cover stories about Brad and Angelina splitting up, here’s proof that the publications are just trying to boost circulation. As usual, Brad and Angelina have been busy with their careers and forced to spend some time apart, but they always reunite as soon as possible. These two are still very much a couple, and this weekend they treated the kids to McDonald’s in Studio City. Brad was reportedly very polite to the woman at the drive-thru window – he asked for extra ketchup.

Jennifer Aniston arrived at The Oscars well fortified with her man, John Mayer. If Brad and Angelina weren’t scheduled to be there, she probably would have arrived with her publicist. Trust us, there was NO chance of Brad and Angelina “accidentally” bumping into each other. Their publicists carefully orchestrated all comings and goings and seating to avoid the remote possibility of such an accident. They were in phone contact all evening. When and if we ever do see them together, it won’t be happenstance.

Angelina’s kids are starting to develop definite personalities. The girls had a day together and stopped at the Lee Art Shop in New York and Shiloh and Zahara walked out with Easter baskets. Shiloh always seems happy-go-lucky and nothing seems to bother her. Zahara, on the other hand, often has a serious, almost suspicious, look on her face. We vote her most likely to smack a photographer some day.

Brad Pitt had a meeting at Chateau Marmont and rode home on his custom motorcycle. He hoped to zoom right into the gated community where he’s living but he was locked out! He rang the bell and made several calls but the gate didn’t open. So he just had to sit there and have his picture taken. Finally a neighbor came home and let him in. Angelina Jolie returned home a few minutes later.

It looks like those silly gossip magazines are going to have to stop asking in headlines “What’s WRONG with The Twins?” Since Brad and Angelina’s babies haven’t been seen a lot since they were born, mags were drumming up stories that the kids were defective in some way. But Brad and Angelina were just spotted at the airport in Japan – each with a twin strapped to the chest and holding hands with two children each. As we can see, the 6 month old twins Knox and Vivienne appear healthy and adorable. And Knox looks like a miniature Brad.

BRAD AND ANGELINA ARE READY FOR ANYTHING

We just had to get a closer look at the Sassafras Estate - that’s the Lloyd Neck, Long Island, mansion that Brad and Angelina are leasing. It looks old, but the 22,000 sq ft house was actually built in 1987, and has the ultimate in high tech luxury. The eight bedroom house sits on 48 acres and the staff quarters features 12 bedrooms (for all those security guards.) The house is compared to “living in your own resort.” There’s a helicopter pad, a barber shop, and an underground tunnel to the front yard. We’re thinking that the fallout shelter (with bath included) is what appealed to Brad – years ago, he had a shelter dug at his Santa Barbara home. This house was one of the ten most expensive houses in America when it was built.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship with his parents has been somewhat murky, considering that Jane Pitt has remained very friendly with Brad’s ex Jennifer Aniston. But it appears the senior Pitts have grown accustomed to Angelina and her brood, and they’re delighted with their grandchildren. (They’re hoping Brad and Angelina will wed.) This is the first photo we’ve seen of them all looking happy together (from the Benjamin Button premier in Hollywood) Compare to a similar photo with Brand and Jen from 2001.
