ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: ACTION HERO TO MONEY MOGUL ON “CELEBRITY APPRENTICE”

Arnold Schwarzenegger was totally delighted when he was asked to fill Donald Trump’s mogul shoes as host of Celebrity Apprentice. As you can see here he is dressed up in his best suit and ready to start disciplining season 8’s collection of “celebrities.” Many of the faces are not familiar, but we DO recognize Boy George, Snooki, Jon Lovitz, and Kyle Richards in the crowd. The NBC series will be filmed in Los Angeles this time around, with an emphasis on technology. NBC has not announced a premier date yet, but we WILL miss seeing Ivanka Trump on the show.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER PREFERS TO GUARD HIS OWN BODY

Soon to be ex-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was having lunch with some buddies at Barneys and one guy teased him about having a bodyguard standing at a discreet distance. Arnold laughed and admitted he was thrilled because once he has finished being governor he can finally get rid of the bodyguard. He said he doesn’t need the guy and anyway “I’m tougher than he is!”

In 1998 this unlikely partnership was being contemplated:
Madonna is quietly discussing costarring in an action movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger! A few years ago Sylvester Stallone pitched the idea to his Miami neighbor Madonna, but she wasn’t interested at the time. Now she’d like to “try something different.” Ideally Madonna would like to play a heroic character in a not-so-violent action movie geared for the younger set. She and baby Lourdes recently spent an afternoon at the Schwarzenegger family compound tossing ideas around.
