Arrested Cocaine Drugs Las Vegas Lip Gloss Paris Hilton

PRIMPING FOR THE CAMERAS GOT PARIS HILTON IN TROUBLE

We’re puzzled by the Paris Hilton conundrum when it comes to her cocaine possession arrest in Las Vegas. According to the AP, police smelled marijuana drifting out of the car occupied by Paris and her boyfriend Cy Waits and they were pulled over near the Wynn Hotel. Cy was arrested for DUI and when looky-loos started to gather and take photos, Paris asked if they could go inside the hotel. In the lobby she sensed the arrival of cameras, so she pulled her lip gloss out of her purse and in doing so, a small packet of cocaine fell out. Hence, SHE was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Paris has already made it clear that she plans to claim it wasn’t HER purse. If it wasn’t her purse, what was her lip gloss doing in there? She can leave it to her high-powered lawyer to figure this one out.

Arrested Germany HIV Nadja Benaissa No Angels Pop Star

CAN THIS GERMAN POP STAR FIND JUSTICE IN A MAN’S WORLD?

The case of the HIV positive German pop star Nadja Benaissa, 28, who is accused of deliberately exposing three men to the sexually transmitted disease, brings up a lot of questions. Nadja was a runaway teen drug addict before she found success with her music group No Angels. They sold five million records and she kept her disease a secret because she felt it might jeopardize the group. Now one of the three accusers, called “Ralph” that she dated six years ago, “suspects” she gave him HIV. The other two men accusing her of reckless endangerment are not HIV positive. Many questions arise: Why didn’t Ralph use a condom? That was HIS decision. Whether Nadja told him she was disease free is not known. There is no way of proving that Ralph didn’t pick up the HIV virus ELSEWHERE in all those years before and after. Guys who date pop stars ARE prone to risky behavior. Was it deliberate? We doubt that. We also question the probability that Nadja passed on the virus at all. Female to male transmission during sex is extremely rare. Infected men like to SAY they got HIV from a woman because the other alternatives aren’t so glamorous. Hopefully, Nadja, now on trial, will find justice.

LEIF GARRETT GAVE UP DRIVING, BUT NOT DRUGS

Teen idol Leif Garrett (above, photographed in the 1970’s with then girlfriend Nicollette Sheridan) was on top of the world until 1979. He was eighteen when he wrecked his car while high on drugs and paralyzed his best friend from the waist down. Since then he’s wrestled with drug problems but seems to have stayed away from cars because his past few drug arrests have happened at Metrolink stations. This week he was locked up for having heroin in his shoe and despite his down and out appearance, he DID manage to scrounge up the $10.000 bail. A perfect candidate for Celebrity Rehab.

Arrested Bank Booze Crimes and Misdemeanors Gun Rehab Rip Torn

RIP TORN THOUGHT THE BANK WAS HIS HOUSE

Now it makes some sense. A highly inebriated (twice the legal limit) Rip Torn, 78, was found wandering around inside a Connecticut bank with a loaded gun in his pocket and his fly unzipped. Officers who came in response to the bank alarm found shoes and a hat by the back door, and broken glass next to the door. Torn didn’t understand why troopers showed up to arrest him and put him in handcuffs and kept asking WHY they were taking him away. Here’s the deal: The “Men in Black” star had been drinking at a bar near his home (he walks, since his DUI) and he was so wasted when he left that he mistook the bank for his house. The bank DOES look like a home – it’s in a two story colonial house with an attic. Torn took off his hat and boots at the back door and when his key wouldn’t work, he broke the glass to get in. When troopers arrived he still thought he was at home! He was charged with trespassing, burglary, and firearms counts, after spending the weekend in jail. Last we heard he’s off to rehab.

ANDY DICK HAS BEEN KISSING STRANGE MEN FOR YEARS

Andy Dick’s arrest in a West Virginia bar for “sexual abuse” (groping other patrons) is just a continuation of the same behavior he’s been guilty of for many years. Bisexual Andy gropes both men and women but he seems to prefer men. What IS it about alcohol that makes Andy want to kiss strange men? Years ago we wrote a story about a security guard acquaintance of ours who went to Damiano’s pizza place on Fairfax – an after hours hangout. The bodyguard was sitting with his friend, a young Asian guy and they saw Andy walk in looking high as a kite. Andy spotted the Asian guy and started cooing “You are SO adorable!” He grabbed the horrified guy by his cheeks and planted a big kiss on his lips! The bodyguard grabbed Andy and threw him out the door. We can’t help but wonder how Andy’s 21 year old son Lucas feels about his father’s propensities.

CYBILL SHEPHERD’S SON ZACK AND HIS AIRPLANE CRIME SPREE

We’re trying to figure out HOW Cybill Shepherd’s son Zack Oppenheim, 22, got himself arrested for stealing stuff on a plane. While passengers dozed, Zach rummaged through their carry-on luggage and relieved them of money, a camera and various travel bags. Other passengers who were wide awake watched him in the act and promptly reported him. The Enquirer was first to report this story (they were so excited they misspelled Cybill’s name.) Zack was arrested as he got off the plane in Philadelphia. He must have known it was coming because he stashed the stolen items in the bathroom trash bin where they were later recovered. How could he pull off such an obvious crime in full view of an audience? We’re thinking his mind must have been in an altered state.

ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: HOW CHARLIE SHEEN STOLE CHRISTMAS

What is it about the holidays that brings out the worst in bad boys? Denise Richards must be smirking because her exhusband Charlie Sheen has been arrested in Aspen for domestic violence. Charlie’s wife Brooke gave birth to twin boys last March but no one involved needed medical attention. Surprisingly, the altercation occurred at 8 AM on Christmas morning, when gifts are usually joyfully unwrapped. Charlie’s been in jail since then, so Christmas for the family cannot have been very pleasant. Charlie’s publicist insists that the situation is not what it seems. The photo above was taken years before Charlie started on “Two and a Half Men.”

UPDATE: Charlie has been released and alcohol was a factor in the skirmish – but Brooke had consumed twice as much as Charlie and he claims he was defending himself from her aggression. All this at 8 AM!

Ryan O’Neal should be nominated for “worst father” in the history of Hollywood. Every one of his kids seem to be hopelessly screwed up by drugs and following in his crooked path. Last December a furious Ryan reportedly punched and KNOCKED OUT his son Redmond at Ryan’s Pro-Gym in LA in front of 30 spectators. Ryan blew his top and accused Redmond, 23, who had just completed his 12th stint in rehab, of using drugs again and forging a check to get them. The latest arrest in which Ryan’s Malibu house was searched as part of Redmond’s probation is especially appalling. Redmond was caught with meth and a vial of meth was reportedly found in Ryan’s room also. Both were arrested with $10,000 bail. People at Ryan’s gym are shocked – they thought that since Ryan had his cancer scare, he was working out religiously and focusing on getting himself and Farrah better. If charges against Ryan turn out to be true, it will be a big disappointment, but it might explain his violent temper.

We can’t help feeling bad for Mackenzie Phillips. With druggy John Phillips for a father, she almost never had a chance. The One Day at a Time star has been in and out of rehabs and arrested several times. She cleaned up again around ten years ago and did some TV work and even made appearances as a motivational speaker. This morning a flight attendant called and told us that Mackenzie was arrested by security at the American Airlines terminal because heroin was found taped to her body. This photo was taken a few months ago at “A Mothers Day Salute to TV Moms.” It’s just sad.

CNN'S RICHARD QUEST CAUGHT IN THE ACT IN CENTRAL PARK!

CNN’s witty broadcaster Richard Quest was arrested after he was found involved in mischief with another man in Central Park at 3:40 AM when the park is closed. When he was detained for loitering, he admitted to the cop that he had meth in his pocket. But more startling was the fact that Quest happened to be wearing a ROPE NOOSE around his neck that was ATTACHED to his private parts. Besides the oddly configured rope, police found a sex toy in his boot. He was charged with loitering and possession of a controlled substance – fortunately he wasn’t exposing himself and avoided a lewd conduct charge. His friend simply got a summons for not carrying identification. We can’t help but wonder what kind of game they were playing.
