No WONDER Tom Cruise, 53, has been spending every spare minute in the UK. He appears to be quite smitten with his 22 year old English assistant Emily Thomas. Emily is always by Tom’s side – especially when he’s on location making movies. She has become indispensable to Tom, and observers note that he seems quite fond of her. Odds are she is already a Scientologist because most of the people Tom works with are. She IS awfully young. But doesn’t she bear a striking resemblance to Katie Holmes?

COURTNEY LOVE AND HER ASSISTANT WILL TELL DIFFERENT SIDES OF HER STORY

Last September, Courtney Love, 47, signed a book deal to publish her memoirs and agreed to dictate her story to a professional writer. She wanted to “set the record straight” about among other things, her stormy life, her marriage to Kurt Cobain, and relationship with her daughter. She has a 2012 deadline and we wonder if she will meet it. Meanwhile her former assistant is shopping around a juicy tell-all called “Get Me a Xanax!” (We LOVE that title!) about the year she spent working for Courtney. The tormented assistant, Jessica Labrie, promised to reveal how Courtney destroys potential romances, deludes herself about drug use while claiming she’s clean and sober, and maybe how she set her apartment on fire. We hope Jessica gets a deal because THIS is the book we’re dying to read!

BRAD PITT’S PRETTY ASSISTANT KEEPS HIM WELL FED

Glasgow streets have been redecorated to look like Philadelphia and that’s where Brad Pitt is now filming “World War Z.” He has an exceptionally pretty girl (above) assigned as his set assistant to cater to his every need. She went to pick up a sandwich for his lunch and immediately the cafe dubbed his choice – chorizo sausage, salsa, and cheddar cheese – the Brad Pitt Special Panini.
