KILLER CAR CRASH: WAS BRUCE JENNER LOOKING IN THE MIRROR?

We were horrified to learn that Bruce Jenner (he was not yet Caitlyn) will not be charged for that PCH crash that killed a woman. Not only was he towing another vehicle, but he was reportedly driving too fast for conditions. His cell phone was checked and he was cleared of texting. So what could have caused him to take his eyes off the road and rear-end two cars? We are willing to bet a week’s pay that Bruce was LOOKING AT HIMSELF IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR and fantasizing about his upcoming surgeries and female transformation. Or maybe fluffing his new weave. Of course that cannot be PROVED, so he is off the hook. Let’s hope Caitlyn is a better driver than Bruce. (Above, Bruce before the accident)

BRUCE JENNER SURVIVED DEADLY ACCIDENT WITH NOT A HAIR OUT OF PLACE

It’s obvious that Bruce Jenner didn’t have his eyes on the road when he slammed into that Lexus’s rear end on PCH and jolted the vehicle into oncoming traffic where it was hit by a Hummer. The driver was killed. When cops arrived, Bruce claimed he was being “chased by paparazzi” but they could find no evidence of that. Imagine blaming photographers for his own careless driving! When a man decides to document his gender reassignment on TV he should EXPECT a whole lot of media attention anyway. It will be interesting to see if police find evidence of texting. Or was Bruce simply looking at himself in the mirror? We’re disappointed that he hasn’t expressed any sympathy or regrets about the accident. He doesn’t even look upset.

George Michael (above right) was a real cutie in his heyday with Wham! The last we heard he fell out of a moving car on a busy London highway and survived with head injuries. SHOULD AMY LOCANE HAVE GOTTEN MORE PRISON TIME?

Beautiful blonde Amy Locane appeared on the first season of Melrose Place in 1992 and her future seemed unlimited. But after a few movie (Cry Baby) and TV appearances, her career fizzled, and in 2008 she settled down in her home state, New Jersey, with a local businessman and volunteer fireman, Mark Bovenizer. They had two daughters and Amy was out of the limelight until 2010 when she had a horrible accident. Amy slammed her car into the passenger side of a vehicle turning into a driveway. She killed a woman and injured the woman’s husband. She was arrested for driving under the influence and could have gotten ten years in jail. The judge just sentenced her to three years, citing that her absence was a hardship for her young children, one of whom is mentally disabled. The victim’s family was distraught. TORI SPELLING: IT’S NOT MY FAULT – THE PAPARAZZI MADE ME DO IT!

Tori Spelling slammed her car into a wall at her child’s school today and of course she tweeted and blamed a paparazzi. We simply cannot understand how someone can “fear” a man with a camera they way they might fear a Crip with a handgun. Photographers are pushy, sometimes rude, but only dangerous when there are a pack of them and they’re fighting with each other. Tori has cultivated publicity all her life and chooses to have her family on a reality show. Are we supposed to believe that she lives in terror of paparazzi? It’s more plausable that Tori was talking on her cell phone to her publicist when she had the accident.

PREGNANT JEWEL SAYS HER CADILLAC SAVED HER LIFE

We have a lifetime love for the underappreciated Cadillac (it happens when you grow up in Chicago) so we were pleased when singer Jewel, 36, credited her Cadillac with keeping her alive in a violent car accident. As you may recall Jewel is married to Ty Murray (she once dated Sean Penn!) and they’re expecting their first child this Spring. She was driving alone in Texas yesterday when she was broadsided by a fire truck! She’s already out of the hospital and tweeted “I do know my car saved my and my baby’s life – definitely going to get another Cadillac SRX, It absorbed the damage and saved my life!”

Pauley Perrette, the most colorful and offbeat of all the forensic experts on NCIS, was leaving the Farmer’s Market on Fairfax recently when she witnessed a smashup. One driver was obviously at fault and Pauley marched up to the driver of the car that got hit to chat and offer her point of view. The grateful driver looked at her and said “You look familiar!” Pauley studied his face and declared So do YOU!” She introduced herself and the guy said “Oh yeah, and I’m Michael T Weiss, I used to be on The Pretender.” With two famous crime fighters on the job, sorting out the auto accident should be a snap.

Maybe those great hospital sources have dried up since the Farrah Fawcett UCLA Medical Center scandal. Last week Star announced their exclusive scoop that Shia LaBeouf was likely to have his pinky finger AMPUTATED because it was so damaged in his auto accident. Here’s a recent photo of Shia and his bandaged hand – we can’t resist pointing out that his pinky finger is clearly the only one NOT damaged.

Auto Accident Morgan Freeman Suspicious Behavior

MORGAN FREEMAN: WHO WAS THAT LADY?

We’re grateful that Morgan Freeman wasn’t even more seriously injured (broken shoulder arm and ribs so far) in his spectacular car crash, but the BIG question about this accident is, of course, WHO is that women he was with, Demaris Meyer? They were supposedly driving from Memphis, where she works for Fedex, to Morgan’s ranch in Charleston and it was 11:30 Sunday NIGHT when the accident happened. Sounds rather cozy, considering Morgan’s wife has accused him of cheating with an acquaintance of hers, and consulted a divorce lawyer. Naturally, Hollywood journalists are abuzz with the prospect that this accident might have blown the lid off Morgan’s “secret.” Or maybe not. We shall see.
